A lovely child friendly hotel/ restaurant which has good outdoor play facilities with outdoor seating to eat/drink .In my opinion not enough (safe) space for the superb bikes that they provide for the children to play on ,some meals can prove to be pricey but well worth a visit as they serve excellent food.

Noticeably cheaper than places higher up and less tucked away. Generous portions too. Sit outside under the eaves or in the deckchairs pointed at the sun. Thereâs a little terrace up a few steps. Large beer 3.30 tea with milk 2.10. The milk came in its own little glass bottle - very cute, and much nicer than a little plastic pot. Leberkäse and chips with a fried egg on top. 6.80Salad with Putenstreifen - strips of turkey 7.00Coffee 2.50All good except the coffee - a bit insipid for my taste, but then my taste runs to espresso.

This restaurant was very busy during the week we were in Soll (half term) and we were turned away the first time we visited but made a booking for later in the week.We we showed up it was again very busy and the staff were under pressure. They seated us after a short wait but were not very friendly and their frantic activity didn't make for a very relaxing atmosphere. The atmosphere was loud and buzzing. However, the food was really good. 2 of us had steak and 1 had sushi all delicious. But it was more expensive than any of the other restaurants we tried during our stay.

We decided to celebrate in this restaurant a birthday and we're happy of our choice. Their menu is absolutely delicious and harmonic. Service were really friendly a we enjoyed our dinner. They cooked for us also some sweet surprise for a birthday occasion. It's very expensive restaurant you should calculate with at least â¬100 p/P with some wine but you'll be satisfied with everything. I can recommand this restaurant for some festive occasion!

We happend to pass at lunch time and decided to have lunch in their garden. And we were not disappointet. Great food, fair prices and above all excellent service. The young woman who served us was not only professionel but had humour and an easy smile. A great stop for lunch or dinner. If you don't stay there!Wir freuen uns sehr das Sie so zufrieden waren. So good we visited twice in one week. Very charming staff, lovely atmosphere, good music and a excellent choice of food and drinks. They had fantastic burgers and we also had pizza and Thai curry. Would love to go back!

I would come back to Ellmau just to have pizza at this place! We went in to the restaurant not necessarily wanting pizza, but we had no choice on this occasion as it was all they were serving. A bit disappointing, but also maybe a blessing as the pizza was amazing! I had the picante, which I can totally recommend. Reasonable prices too. Canât complain.

We stopped off for lunch before heading for Kitzbuehel. We had a lovely table by the window with the sun streaming in. The Schnitzel, Tyrollean platter, sausages etc. were all very good and we did not have room for dessert. The waiting staff were friendly and relaxed.

This restaurant has been transformed from a Mexican eatery into a superb Austrian restaurant. The staff are polite and welcoming with (fortunately for the good lady and I) a very good command of the English language. The food is excellent and served quickly. We would reccomend this restaurant to anyone visiting Ellmau.

Up a long winding road that seems in the middle of nowhere we emerged into a picture postcard perfect location. Jagerwirt served excellent authentic Austrian fare. The staff were amazing - helpful and friendly the food and wine absolutely stunning and the location and the view brilliant. Highly recommend this place - well worth the effort to get here.
