We initially stopped here for Bombardinos on the last run down which by the way are cheaper than most places and great. After 2 or 3 days of this and due to the friendliness of the staff we decided to stop for lunch. It is waiter service which is a big tick from me for a start. Nothing worse than balancing your food and drink on a tray as you walk in ski boots to a table. The food is good, nothing exceptional but good solid ski food done well. The pizza is good but I particularly liked their polenta dishes. Due to snow/wind the links to the other resorts were closed so we ended up eating here for 3 lunches. This combined with our afternoon drinks stops meant we were warmly welcomed by the staff, with even the head chef coming out of the kitchen for a chat. We only had to arrive and our bombadinos were served. If you are going to pick a ski stop in Sauze I recommend this one. A little bit away from the crowd at Sportinia, good food and very friendly and welcoming.

We had lunch here 3 out of our 6 days, choosing this option instead of the vouchers we were given as part of our all inclusive package. What a good choice, lovely food, well priced, nice staff and a great location; at the middle station of the Jouvenceaux lift and the bottom of a lovely black and red run. We also had a coffee here on the one day we had a huge dump of snow. 2 of the 3 days we ate out on the terrace in the sunshine.

Cute spot across Sportinia from Orso Bianco.Great hosts for spares ski. Try the Champions Hot Chocolate. GOOD selection of bottled beers if you get bored with Euro fizz.Cavernous space out back.If you spares ski here they will skidoo you off the mountain.

A friend of mine found this place using Tripadviser when we were looking for a place to have lunch. We had a fantastic feed at very reasonable prices and were the only non-Italian lunch diners which I think is a good indication of the quality! I had the Chateaubriand which was excellent. The Limoncello afterwards was also gratefully received!

We are in frazione Jouvenceaux Sauze d'Oulx 20 meters from the Jouvenceaux-Sportinia chairlift. Our small restaurant is based on a very local menù with zonal specialities. We serve fresh pasta, ravioli and homemade gnocchi with homemade sauces. Meat and p
Ideal location by the bottom of the Jouvenceaux lift. Non skiers at the Neilson Edelweiss hotel can walk down to meet skiers at the end of the piste. We had lunch there on two days. Simple menu of pasta dishes, or grilled steak, and excellent affetato misto or bresaola, do those who like cured meats and cheese. The chips are good as well. Staff friendly and welcoming. We ate outside both days in the sunshine.

Unpretentious delicious pizzas, fresh bread, excellent escalope and----fantastic grilled vegetables- not a few slices of veg but whole courgette, half onion, tomato, potato, fennel etc properly grilled. Highly recommended! Italian on next table ordered brochetta and local small cheese starter- also looked fabulous. Ristorante pizzeria a conduzione familiare, in tipica baita di montagna, al centro del borgo storico di Jouvenceaux , davanti alla bellissima chiesa di Sant Antoni
We really enjoyed our visit. Cosy, friendly atmosphere. We visited on a Sat night and the place was full of Italian families. We shared a starter, then had a pizza each. The pizzas were great & huge -we couldn't finish them ! The waitress spoke excellent English and offered to give us the leftovers home but since we were leaving the next day we didn't take them.

Cosy, traditional stone building with a fire, intimate surroundings, crisp linen tablecloths, friendly, attentive service, excellent wine and food. Access is by ringing the doorbell but donât let that put you off - we walked in without a reservation mid week and it was 2/3 full - perfect. Sea bass and duck both excellent, rounded off with zabaione for dessert.
