Excelent pasta and meat. Ask the house's salad as a starter (attention, it's huge) and try the exceptional roasted goat leg or a big ravioli. Small selection of wines, though. Nice place to take the family for lunch or to go for a romantic dinner with your partner.

Chopp do Fritz is a nice German like place in Sao Jose dos Campos! Besides the beer(you should try all of them: klar, natur, dunkel, weiss...) , which is "home made" and very good, the food is also awsome! If you want something German, try the Eisbein, if you are looking for something Brazilian, try the Grilled Picanha!!! Service is ok and the music selection is also very good! Try it! You will not regret...

In a clean and intimate room, few tables perfectly served by a smiling crew. I recommend a reservation before leaving, because in moments the seats are all taken, and the splendid food start to leave the kitchen. Perfect for special dates or high-end business meetings.

This was my first time at Villa Lobos restaurant. I went there with some business associates. Service was top notch! Food was very good (although I have had better)! Wine was also good (they have a great selection of Argentinian wines)! How about the price?? Well, price was not so good!! So, know this is not an everyday restaurant, however if you want to celebrate a special occasion, this place could be a good option!

I just tried this restaurant a few days ago while trying to be a good host to a European business associate. Overall we had a good dinner and all of the food was tasty and expertly-prepared.It does not earn the full five stars however, because the prices were pretty outrageous and inconsistent. A simple pasta dish cost a whopping R$80, with a pretty stingy portion, while a large ancho steak costs a few Reals extra, which is actually not too bad for local standards.I know São José dos Campos has few options for A-level meals, so talented chefs can basically charge low-information customers what ever they want. I believe however, that if price-to-portion were made just a little more even, this restaurant could become a legend in this town.
