Last saturday (13th July), I went dinner, in this restaurante, with a group of friends of mine. At the first sight, the restaurante is nice and the menu seems appealing. But, it's only at the fisrt sight... We asked for paella, that it's on the menu (including a variety of types). Fisrt, the maid (lady) said that paella takes about about 30 minutes to prepare. We said ok. Then, she came back and told us that the chef said that it wasn't possible to prepare any type of paella... We were said, because we were in Spain and we realy wanted to eat paella... but, ok, we choosed anothers dishes. Some of us choosed meat (which was mediocre and tasteless) and others choosed monkfish (which wasn't fresh!! we were in Sanxenxo - seaside village!) But Ok! The worst was the final of the dinner. We asked for the bill and the maid (boy) brought it. We were 9 persons, so it was obvious that each one of us wanted to pay a part of the total bill. So we asked for ATM machine so each one could pay his part of the bill (for eg. total bill 250â¬, so each one will pay 250â¬/9.) The maid said it wasn't possible to do that... each one must pay in cash or one of us must pay the TOTAL BILL in the ATM card. We said that each one want to pay in ATM card. We called the owner of the restaurant. She came. Oh, such a rude lady!!!! Imediatly she began to be harsh, rude and aggressive! Told us we on of us must pay all the bill!! We noticed that she wanted to do the things in way to EVADE TAXES!! One of my friends said that she want to pay, with ATM card, only the food and drinks she consumed and that with invoice! In that moment, the owner (lady) changed and said "Ok you can pay each one with ATM card", and she entered into the restaurant (our table was on the esplanade). We entered the restaurant and she said that the ATM machine was low battery. We tried several times to pay with the ATM card but the machine seemed no to work.The owner had two machines, but when whe entered the restaurant, she hid one of the machines under the counter. And she was always touching the wire of the other one (that she said was low battery). We think she was doing that on purpose, in order to the machine not to work. In the middle of this process, she was always abusing us and saying swears! We had never seen anything like that!! In the end, we had to pay in cash!!! Like she wanted...!!! So, in the end, I said I will write in tripadvisor about that... And the owner (lady) started screaming (and the maid - lady - also!!!) and kicked us out of the restaurant and said "Go eat another restaurant in Sanxenxo, there has much to choose from!!!". OMG!!! This was unreal!!! This was the worst experience we had ever had!!! Please, stay away from this hell!!

Probably one of the best restaurants in Cambados.With fresh and local food.The prices are reasonable.Lovely seafood.

After the best recommendation we went to the restaurant with great expectation. The result: terrible service, horrible noise, tables too close together, and the worst were the small Mosquitos all over the food. I am sorry a good restaurant never could allow these type of mistakes.

We discovered this by accident on the last night of our trip to Portonovo - the fact that it is listed here as Sanxenxo, when it is actually in nearby Portonovo, meant we hadn't spotted it on Tripadvisor. And the fact that it is up a back street on the way out of town meant that despite its proximity to our accommodation (the excellent Esperanza Del Mar apartments) we had never thought to go up and have a look at it.When we did visit, though, we were very glad we had done so. From the outside the place is pretty undistinguished, and looks like an average roadside bar - and this impression is not dispelled by a slightly "canteen-y" atmosphere, with bright lighting and modern decor. However the food is very good, and offers a great break from the more traditional tapas and seafood cuisine found around the rest of town.Having eaten a meal earlier we limited ourselves to a few tasters, which included beautifully tender squid with a black ink sauce; a small piece of rare steak with wild mushrooms; a pigeon breast wrap; and some nicely executed montaditos (various cheese and salamis mounted on bread). The wine list was good, and the presence of a number of very large groups indicates that this is a popular local venue.If we visit Portonovo again we will definitely go back and try more options - perhaps for Sunday lunch, when the garden area would presumably be open (and while it's a bit early for the Spanish, I think the west facing terrace would be nice for a sunset drink and snack).

Beautiful food and views, both meats and fish are the best quality and the portions are abundant, the service is great and every one is very helpful. The desserts are really good too. We have chosen this place for a birthday party. Mardivino Asador is a restaurant by the hotel with a terrace facing the nice lagoon. We ate inside since Sanxenxo is a very controversial resort, it can be +30 during the day, but +16 in the evening. Steaks ordered were perfect, birthday cake was perfect, service was perfect. Dinner for 9 with 2 cavas and 1 rebeira crianza totaled 280⬠and a lot of positive emotions.

We found ourselves in Sanxenxo on business before the beginning of the Spanish tourist season. Many restaurants along the harbor side were not yet open for the season. The restaurant proved to be a good choice. Food was well prepared and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive.

This is possibly one of the best Michelin restaurants I have been to. Amazing place, the decor is modern and fantastic, staff are superb and the food has a very clever take on the traditional with an Asian twist. My favourite was the dim sum filled with Caldo!So glad we found it. A real gem.Moitas gracias!!

We came here recently with our 2 year old daughter. The staff were very accommodating and provided paper and crayons. We had the tortilla, pasta salad with pink sauce, the beef taco. All were delicious and very good value. Plenty of room for our toddler to move around and the staff brought her a little treat after. Very impressed and would definitely return.
