[Correct name: La Llotja de Sils] I've had a couple of Sunday lunches (20⬠menu) here. It's a stylish place, though not over formal. The menu is well chosen and interesting. Yesterday I had snails (36) with oil, salt and pepper --very tasty and not overwhelmed by the flavouring. My wife had pasta with interesting local mushrooms: simple and garlicky. Then "secret de porc" (pork steak) with a light creamy sauce and a garnish of grilled vegetables, cooked just right. Dessert: I had mascarpone with a few berries; my wife had the crema catalana (bigger than she needed). We chose just water to drink. A fine eating experience.

L'ALIANCA 1919 A new concept Based on the origins of our building, which has been a coffee-bar for over 60 years and a restaurant during the last 14 years, we want to present you l'Alianca 1919. A fusion of the old coffee of our grandparents with some of
LâAliança 1919 is a restaurant located in the little town called Anglés, in Girona province, in Catalonia. This restaurant had a Michelin Star, but the main chef died some years ago, and their family changed the restaurant philosophy and now it is an old-fashioned restaurant, where you can taste a degustation menu. In fact, it is located in an old building in the center of the town. Here we tasted this degustation menu, which had some dishes like pickled mussels, Galician octopus chef style, fried calamari, salad of smoked eel, duck liver micuit, fish with coconut and prawn, churrasco, degustation of cheeses, tangerine with yogurt, coolant of hazelnut with brownie ice-cream. Also we drank a white wine called Dido, a wine of Montsant origin. Some of these dishes were fantastic, especially, Galician octopus, duck liver, fish and degustation of cheeses. The staff, especially the owner, was very friendly and nice with us. A very good place to eat, if you visit this part of the land.

We have now been to this place twice. We are a challenging group of 25 people from 87 years old to a 1 year old and this place delivers every time. I am seriously impressed with how they manage to serve us quickly, with great food and with great service. The food impressed us all!! You can imagine that with that many people you have a wide range of likes and dislikes yet, they miraculously did it all!! So much so that we came back again and I am sure we will be back another time before our week vacation is over. Food is great and local and fresh! The fish, the squid on the grill, the veggies on the grill... it all is fabulous!! Highly recommend it!!

Can Valls was founded in 1950. The restaurant is located in San Martin Sapresa, a village located on the road between the towns of Santa Coloma and English. A nice and cozy place to enjoy the best cuisine.
This unassuming looking restaurant is a real little gem. We stayed in the tiny village of Sant Marti Sapresa and this restaurant was literally across the road from our accommodation. The extensive menu is divided into two sections: David's menu and Grandma's menu. All of the food looked so good it was difficult to decide. The tipping point for us was the tank of live lobsters. You would never guess that this restaurant had this from the outside, but it was definitely value at â¬22 for a thermidor style lobster topped with roasted almonds...so good and we knew it was as fresh as possible. If you go (which you should, this is a real gem of a place) don't miss out on the specialty Catalan dessert ice cream with a thicker than thick gooey chocolate sauce that we were strongly influenced to order...it was a really simple good dessert. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area, one of the best meals I've had in a long time.

Had lunch here before flying to Bristol. Typical Catalan cooking in a friendly amd welcoming family restaurant. Menu changes daily and is only 10.50⬠for 3 courses, wine, water, bread and coffee included. If you like snails, you can also have a dozen of different preparations a la carte and many other regional specialities besides. Lunch is from 13:00 - 15:00 and they also serve breakfast and evening meals. Very popular with the locals, but plenty of tables. Closed Wednesdays. On the far side of the airport from the normal approach, so would recommend using a GPS to get you there and, more importantly, to the airport to catch your plane>

Many restaurants are closed after Christmas and new yearâs eve. So long ago we visited Castell de Brunyola and we try it on a thurdayafternoon again. We have reserved, but our name does not sound familiar. This restaurant doesn´t have a menu, but we have to order a la cart.We sit down and open the menu and we are asked immediately not only what we want to drink but also what we want to eat. We indicate that we have not yet studied the map, but the young employee remains with her notepad until we have ordered. We are therefore forced to decide quickly. My wife asks for the embotidos as a starter and the arroz as main course. No problem she says. I get my arroz and there is reported that an arroz is only served as a starter !!!!??? My wife asks the card again, but then we have to call in a colleague to order the main course. My starter is almost finished, when her starter arrives. The main courses arrive very quickly thereafter. As a starter we have chosen for the embotidos and the arroz. The serrano ham and the fuet of the slicers do not taste exciting, the arroz on the other hand is famous and tastes great. No plate to put the bones and shells in, unfortunately. Many bones in the arro.. As a main course we opt for the calamari romana and parillada de carn. The calamari are thick breaded and flat in taste. The combined meat dish tastes good. The waitress says that 1 piece of meat is missing and will follow soon. When I have finished eating that piece of meat is served. When ordering, we also asked for allioli with the dishes. We have to ask this 2 times more. We opt for normal bread, but get toasted bread. In short, a thick inadequate assessment for the service. When I tell the owner about this bad service, he waves it away as: it is very busy today, so things can go wrong. WRONG! Last time it was as busy as today. 2 Courses and drinks and that for 45â¬, comparing to other restaurants in the neighborhood, you may expect more. It will take a long time before we visit this restaurant again.Assessment of general 5Appraisal of appetizers 8 and 6Assessment of main courses 5 and 6Assessment of operation 2Price quality ratio 5

We arrived when the restaurant was supposed to be opened since a while according to the info on the internet, yet 6 minutes before 8pm, so the waitress told us to leave and come again on time(!) which we did. Although the restaurant was completely empty, she did assign us a certain table with no free choice. We have ordered a menu composed of starter/main dish/desert/beverage as we have seen at other places in different cities in Spain. The only difference was the price which was considerably higher than elsewhere.
