Shopping nearby and looking for somewhere in/near Mahon for lunch and this was one of the ones that came up on TripAdvisor. It's not great looking from outside but the menu del dia sounded promising and as there were no seats available and locals waiting for tables we had to give it a go. 3 courses, wine and water for 2 and under â¬30. It was lovely. Juan served and guided us through the menu and his English put my Spanish to shame. Thank you to all that recommended this place, we'd never have found it otherwise. It's a short car journey from Mahon (about 4 minutes at most) but well worth it. If we weren't staying near Ciutadella we'd be back in a flash.

Very pleasant large tapas (4 dishes between 2} which were tasty, as well as unusual. Dishes were served one at a time with a small overlap. Hot as appropriate. Friendly and cheerful staff. Frequented by many locals. Pity about the outside seating being on a busy junction with a bus stop. Courgettes carpaccio with caramelised mango dressing with rocket and cashews with parmesan was particularly interesting. Good chocolate fondant with ice cream!

Cocina mediterránea, cocina europea, cocina española, opciones vegetarianas, opciones sin gluten, helados artesanos!
There are several restaurants along the beachfront in Punta Prima, we experienced most of them whilst staying nearby and this was our favourite.Great salads, our chulata (sharing steak cooked on the open fire) was excellent as were the accompanying sauces. Tapas were good enough. All the beachfront restaurants have similar menus but the food was a notch up at this one. Still a touristy restaurant but perfectly enjoyable for relaxing lunches or dinners by the sea. Donât expect fine dining but the food is fresh and tasty, and the waiters/waitresses looked after us well. The Hito red wine was recommended by the waiter and was excellent.Thank you so much for your kind words!our food is fresh and everything is prepared at the moment!hope to see you soon again to taste some more dishes!best regards

Fish and seafood, cold meat, homemade desserts and an excellent selection of wines are the speciality of the house. Although lunch and dinner are offered, there is also the possibility to acquire good wines and delicatessen products from the little store
I recently visited Barracuda for a family meal. We were not disappointed, the food, the surroundings, the interior, the staff and every little attention to detail could not be faulted. We went home full up on the most delicious seafood, good wine and amazing desserts. We all ordered different fish dishes and all of us commented on how fresh and perfectly cooked it was. The staff/owners were so accommodating and attentive especially with our very fidgety 3 year old. They made us feel very welcome, they even came out with the monk fish to check we were happy with the size etc. I would throughly recommend a trip to Barracuda especially if you are particularly into eating fresh fish. Itâs a culinary experience and well worth every penny. Good afternoon HughieHL:First of all, thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, it encourages us to surpass ourselves and gives all the team huge motivation. We feel very satisfied with the results of your visit at Barracuda :) we put a lot of love and effort in every dish we prepare as in the service we provide, in order to satisfy our customers. As you well know we work depending on the fish market, which means we will possibly surprise you with different options the next time you visit us, , and if that's not enough the magical hands of our chef will do the rest ;)It's a pleasure to serve such enjoyable clients like you, including your charming 3-year-old, you are more than welcome any time to Barracuda and thanks a million for recommending us.

We revisited this restaurant after a previous visit in 2017. It has clearly been updated and revamped. Food was excellent as was the beer. Still the same staff providing excellent service.

â¬10 for a great little vineyard tour, with a short tasting (including some cheese and crackers) - absolutely brilliant! They really could charge more for this. Thoroughly enjoyable. So much so that we stayed for drinks in the bar, then dinner in the restaurant which was 10/10. A modern, delicious meal, in a super cool winery. We will be back.

A lovely family run restaurant, very welcoming and accommodating. Food all home cooked by "Mum", and excellent quality, adapted to any personal requests, Dad and son serving- both very friendly and good fun. Visited regularly during our stay, always a great time. Fully deserves it's #1 rating as best local restaurant. Andres - add "Ay up me duck" to your "absolutely spiffing" phrase book. Thanks for looking after us. Loved the cherry liquor!!

Excellent restaurant on the edge of Sant Lluis at a roundabout. The have a nice full garden, so you do not see the traffic and barely hear it. Friendly waiters, excellent chef. Some good traditional dishes on the menu. Nice, moderately priced wine list. One of the few places we visited twice during our fortnight's holiday. Price range a bit above average, but then the food is much better than for instance along the boulevard at Punta Prima.

This was my first visit to this restaurant but family who I travelled with had been many, many times over the years. It's a dainty but well laid out place which was within walking distance of where we were staying. The staff knew some of the party from previous visits which made us feel very welcome. We got a table for the 6 of us and were served immediately for drinks. The white wine we had was very nice and the pour size of the single spirits are large, probably free poured. I wasn't complaining! The menu was fairly big and varied and as a "fussy" eater, there was only a few options on the menu that i decided to pick from. In the end, I decided to have the sea bream on a bed of aubergine and potato which was nice.If you are not fussy with food, I'd recommend visiting this place, everything was great about this place. I'd definitely go back again, I had a great time here and it lived up to its hype! There was just one extra local that made an appearance :) Gecko count: 1

New restaurant, bar and lounge in Menorca that offers Mediterranean food with a French touch. Come for a drink, tapas, or dinner and enjoy our beautiful gardens. We host a number of events, including live music every wednesday from 9pm in the gardens of t
Came here a couple of nights ago for dinner and enjoyed casually live music and a flamenco show set up for the guests.Location is very nice, some atmosphere is definitely on, with an enjoyable garden with some tables scattered and some under a terrace.Food is pleasant, nothing too traditional, something kind of fusion as the chef is French, I believe. The dessert is definitely its top choice, in our opinion.Service is absolutely terrible: the host, or whatever the snobbish blond lady at the entrance is, was inattentive at the least and very careless about incoming guests, they canceled our order by mistake and there were biblical timings between the dishes.People who started dining around 20.30 were still having dessert at 23.30. If you are no short of time, may be a good choice to occupy an evening - just make sure there is some entertainment on that particular night.
