There's something very strange with this listing. We did as we always do. Check for a restaurant close by, go to one with decent ratings. So we did. This place has nothing that reminds of pictures listed. It's a trucker place, when we were there the place was almost crowded and I was the only woman in there. There's a board with selection of first and second courses. However there's a sign of different menus ranging from â¬8- â¬14 depending on choice (I guess, it was in Italian). No one spoke English. However the word "vegetarian" works well usually. "Si, si" the waitress said. Well. Funny thing is, I ended up with NO FOOD. No food at all! My husband got a piece of meat, and fries and a salad which I of course also ate from. I got the wine I asked for. And this is where it gets even funnier, I still had to pay for a meal! (For a while there we though "ok, maybe she just made our two orders into one?", but obviously not. ) I'm tempted to raise the rating purely out of the cultural experience though. Sitting in a crowded place with truckers, smelling the fat food and... watching the prostitutes come in and walking around the tables. Oh, my, God. I understand that maybe this was a language issue, but regardless I can't give this more than a sad little, lonely star. The food wasn't good, the price was impossible to understand but ended up quite high given only one of us got any food, the surroundings was simple and typical "road dinner" and it was impossible to understand what you ordered or paid for. And, again, those fancy pictures posted here on TripAdvisor are not taken at this restaurant. At least not in the last couple of years given the sole clientele of truckers in here tonight and the food I saw coming out on plates. The cappuccino was good though.

Situated high above Pastrengo, this fort of a restaurant overlooks Lake Garda and wine country. The inside is stunning brick with the design coordinating off little rooms with the hall. This is a large restaurant, apt for parties or just a few people. Busy place. We had the menu di Terre. Very good, especially the raw beef. Wine menu was a bit limited. Plenty of easy parking, follow signs to restaurant when heading to Pastrengo.

we obviously had dinner while staying at Ca dei Maghi overnight. The owner combines a restaurant with local dishes and his native production of olive oil and wine. Find a variety of starters, PRimi or Secondi that respects local tradition with some creative modifications. Not too much, just right. Dishes are sometimes are sometimes simple but very delicious, for instance the bruschetta with parma and local honey. Or the tagliata grilled according to your specific taste with salvia. The wine menu obviously lists the owner's wine red or white (together with a selection of other Italian and abroad products) but also offers wine by glass and this makes it interesting in different directions. Choose a blend, classico or amarone per course of your menu. And along with that you decide which wine is selected to go in your car trunk and your private cellar at home. If you stay at Fumany, it is a must to turn into Ca de Maghi, however, a lot of Italians come quite a few kilometers on the road in order to enjoy an evening here.

Nestled in the midst of our vineyards, the Locanda del Bugiardo stands with our Dimora del Bugiardo 300 m distance as our principal hospitality offering. Excellence in cooking, with a tremendous attention to quality will, we promise, leave you breathless.
The restaurant is in the middle of the vineyards. We had dinner outside on the terrace at dusk. Peace, quiet, beauty, luxurious atmosphere. We chose the 'degustazione' menu, 4 courses matched with 5 wines of the Buglioni Bugiardo estates. Each dish was excellent, refined, nicely mixing traditional cuisine with modern creativeness. And the food-wine match really made each other shine.Service was perfectly refined but not intrusive, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to sample the region's wines, including Ripasso and Amarone, and treat yourself to a refined and romantic evening.

We had a delightful dinner with friends at this roadhouse pizzeria. The place was packed with locals and travelers as it was during the World Cup playoffs. The service was good and the pizza was very good. I would recommend it.

Excellent food, great service, outdoor and indoor seating. great wine list! We ate there twice and it was all very good. The building in which it is situated is very interesting, part of the complex of the Villa owned by the Quaranta family. The small family Church is worth a visit, ask your waiter if it can be arranged.Dear Buz51,thank You for Your feedback, it is a pleasure for us to learn that Your experiences with us have been up to expectations. We are glad You appreciated our location and quality of our services and You had the chance to taste flavours and wines of our land!
