A very nicely decorated restaurant, owned and run by a family for many years. The head waiter and chef are husband and wife. The emphasis is on fresh food that is cooked well, without unnecessary elaboration. My partner had the tuna steak, while I ordered the âfilletâ steak - more on this below. Both were nicely seared and still pink in the middle. The tuna came with a simple and delicious garnish of mushrooms and asparagus, whilst the steak came with real chips cooked to perfection. Now, the issues. My steak was NOT fillet. It was, I think, frying steak. But at â¬15 for the dish, it was well cooked and very tasty, so I was not upset. However, I ordered a side dish of asparagus with mayonnaise and, despite assurances that all the food was fresh, this was out of a tin....and just nasty. The head waiter took it away and promised me some fresh asparagus in its place, but this never arrived, sadly. Pity, because the fresh asparagus that came with the tuna was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here very much, and would definitely eat here again.Thank you very much for the opinion. We are glad to know that everything was to your liking. The small mistakes I take into account to improve them and sorry for the mistakes. We had fresh asparagus while we were into another dish and it was my mistake because of my English language. I hope to see you again soon and thank you for choosing us.

Our hotel made a reservation for my husband's birthday. The restaurant is situated right on the beach, with multiple levels for dining. We were shown to a water front table, overlooking El Penon, with a view down the coast. The service is efficient. We shared a appetizer of burrata, over salad greens and lots of fresh vegetables. It was a great start to our meal. My husband had Merluza with a seafood sauce. I had mussels done in the style of Andalucia. Both dishes were fresh and well prepared. No room again for dessert, but we were offered after dinner drinks, a wonderful orange wine from Malaga. It was a lovely experience.

You come here for the meat, they source, I believe, the beef from Argentina. You cook your own steak on a hot stone, simple accompaniments like patas fritas, or baked potato and salad are also available. A very enjoyable meal, but expect to pay about â¬20 for the steak itself.

Easy to find and park opposite the beach, we ate on the outside terrace.Within half an hour the terrace was full, and popular with the Spanish locals. Three of us ordered cod, red mullet and monkfish from the a la carte menu and all three meals were excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. At â¬60 for the meal and drinks it was good value for quality food in a pleasant location. Will definitely visit again.

Visited this restaurant as it was recommended by a local resident. While the staff were friendly And the setting was lovely, we were disappointed. Starter portions were very large, good to share. We started with tomatoes and avocado. Tomatoes were not very ripe and just cut into large chunks. Poor presentation.Main course - we had seafood paella. Again disappointing, not hot, little seafood other than small clams in it. Didnât bother with dessert as it was all frozen prepackaged.

This restaurant is situated near the center of the Casco Viejo, just below El Rosario church, old Ayuntamiento, and the Bóveda. From its top floor you get the best view of Casco Viejo, the Mediterranean, and the farm land adjoining the coast. The food we had was good (croquetas de jamón, langostinos al ajillo) but not so good was "El,Secreto" (a pork cutlet)

Stayed three nights here recently, would have had more restaurants meals, unfortunately the restaurant was closed for first two nights. Lunch here yesterday was superb, huge cardinal prawns with sauce and black pudding stuffed ravioli, absolutely delicious. They have a small menu, but everything thing is fresh and cooked in house. Finished with thyme ice cream, my husband had the wasabi ice cream, not too spicy either! The rooms here are huge, with amazing views, canât recommend enough.

We just stopped by for lunch in the bar as I was curious to see the restaurant menu, which looked amazing but not suitable for vegetarians. The bar menu however had a good selection and my husband enjoyed the aubergines in romesco sauce, the best romesco I have ever tasted. My friend and I shared the mussels and tuna tataki with black garlic ali oli. Both dishes were perfect, the mussels were absolutely fresh and delicious. Lovely staff and good service. We will go back soon. Thanks for your opinion, for us is very important that our clients have a nice time in our Restaurant. See you soon!!

We have a vacation house in Salobreña and have visited many restaurants here and donât understand why this is rated number one. We visited La Biznaga for lunch, two families 4 adults, 4 teenagers. Food was very uneven. Spinach salad with goat cheese and honey was good but the french fries served to the omelette and hamburgers were not crispy at all. Kids thought the burger was ok but nothing special. Overall service was ok. No tapas was served when we ordered our drinks. We saw other guests eating tapas. There are plenty of restaurants in Salobreña a lot better than this one. It is average, at most.

We arrived early..around 1pm so we're the only ones there for a while. Service was friendly with some good English. Very relaxing overlooking the beach...a quieter cove at the western end. All the food was good. We shared stuffed mushrooms, then a gourmet burger and tropical salad. The salad was especially good. By 2.30 the piece was nearly full. Across the road away from the beach is the bar and inside restaurant which offers some cheaper dishes. Recommended for a special lunch
