This restaurant is so good we ate there twice! The Moules au Camenbert are the best I had during our two week stay in Normandy. All the food is freshly prepared and well presented. The service is great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The views over the Harbour are spectacular. Their children's dishes are plentysome. The desserts are tasty. Will definitely be back when we visit Normandy again.

a fantastic warm welcome, we stay regularly in reville and rather than drive we walk round to the moyne de saire, it well worth it. some major updating has happened over the past couple of years so look for the more recent reviews to see just how much it has improved. the lovely couple who run the hotel will always be on hand to offer a friendly face and a beaming smile! the fixed price menu's offer a great choice of foods with a fantastic price tag.

A journey back 10 years as met with the old French surly service!!!I speak pretty good French and the waitress was just being difficult...asked for knives for example for 4 of us ..she brings one.....she got the order wrong and she refused to change it!It would have been ok if the food was ok ..Loads of other lovely places to eat here, definitely not recommended.

Delightfully located overlooking the quayside and harbour. Seating inside and also under a canopy on the front. Modern and tasteful interior. The menu has a wide range of both seafood and meat dishes which can be ordered a la carte, or from several set menus offering choices at differing prices. There is a good drinks list, including a fair range of wines, we found the much cheaper house wines are good quality. We ordered from the â¬27.90 menu with some very interesting local dishes. All 3 courses were excellent, superbly cooked, very fresh, including the very large desserts.Service was very good. We felt that the meal was excellent value given the range of choices and quality.

We were staying with our little grandchildren at Quettehou and went to the excellent beaches at Pointe de Saire to collect shells and make sand castles. The walking was delightful and Le Goeland served its purpose admirably. We tried to go without a booking on our first Sunday and were turned away. After that we booked a few times and had a very pleasant time. Staff were friendly and the views outstanding.Food was touristy but not bad including oysters, fish and chips and tapas. The children's food was ideal. All in all it was pretty good and we spent around 140 euros for four adults and three chidren

We were there on a Sunday for lunch and it was humming with life. Good sign? Sadly, they must've been understaffed or something, because the service was patchy at best with drinks being forgotten and probably the worst pizza I've ever had. I hate complaining, but this was not one of my best choices. A pity, because it looks like a fun place.

Brasserie avec une cuisine composée de produits frais et locaux. Vue imprenable sur le port de Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue.
Stopped here for some liquid refreshment on a brief visit on our way back to the ferry. great position to sit in the sun behind a glass wind break and admire the boats in the harbour and view back across to the quay. Service was quick and polite and came with a smile. Can't comment on the food since we didn't have time to stop but the restaurant area was very busy and what we could see of the meals looked very appetising.

I arrived with a large rucksack but was warmly received. The 3 course lunch was amazing. I had tomato and mozzarella starter beautifully served and refreshing to taste.I followed this with ham with duchesse potatoes. The ham and itâs creamy sauce were lovely. The potato dish could have been warmer. This was washed down with cider. My dessert was a fromage blanc dish. Once again it was delicious and care was given to its presentation. All this for 13.50 Euro.

Fish restaurant
St Vaast is a super stop off point on the way to the ferry in Cherbourg and Le Chasse Maree is a great place for lunch if you do. We called off in June and had the lunchtime menu which featured skate wings. Fish of every kind is a feature of the menu here and these were done perfectly. The service is friendly but rather slow: this is definitely a place to savour your meal. There is a good wine list too although prices generally are slightly above the local average. Nevertheless, a terrific stop off - strongly recommended.

The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance as it is a very large conservatory looking out on to the gardens. I decided on lobster on this occasion as it was my last day, was forever looking for mussels, but they are seasonal apparently, did not expect to see said lobster presented on a silver salver, and moving! However the end result was delicious as it was flambed at our table. I also very much enjoyed (for the first time) the fois gras creme brulee........yummy. could recommend this restaurant and the hotel in a heart beat.
