During a 1 night Stop over in St Lô at the nearby Inter Hotel, we decided to avoid going into town and try the Toscana. First impressions where favourable and the menu was a good range of Italian and some French dishes, over the obligatory aperitif we all chose. Mrs B went for fish, whereas I and the young lad chose Pizza. The food was both nice and plentiful, the location may put you off initially, but try to see past that and I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

On 2 nd June 2015.The blackboard menu was very confusing including the pricing. My wife Margaret ordered the Menu de Jour which was priced at â¬15 (? ) but we were charged â¬20 on the bill, was referred to as Souris d' Agneau...this turned out to be as tough as old boots, fit only for the Plubelle. I ordered a Terrine which turned out to be an average Supermarket Terrine, but priced at ⬠9. 90 . I ordered a Bouef Bourgignon which turned out to be tough beef in a watery soup priced at â¬15-90........far from being the Classic Dish. The Chocolate Mousse floating in water ! The worst meal in 2 months .Beef in a watery soup priced at ⬠15.90.....far from that classic dis

We had a to course dinner with one glass wine and coffee at 17.50⬠which was very well prepared and savoury. The homemade tartiflet de Normand was also very good and very filling. The service was very friendly and attentive. Maybe the best place to eat in Saint-Lo.thank you so much

In the lair of Saint-Lo, an Italian hideout where the friends meet. To the joysticks, two Flingueurs tontons: Camille & Antoine. Some are wasting money, and others are collecting. Here they draw a bold, arrogant card. Grocery side - these are all the flav
Positives: food tasted good, dessert as well. Waitress was polite and spoke english. The price of food was not too expensive. Nice interior. We got a seat at a bar like table although we didn't have a reservation. Negatives: Need reservation, this was a Wednesday. And mainly, we have waited 40 minutes from ordering to the point when we got the food, our personal record. It would have helped if the waitress warned us about that. So that we have a choice whether we want to wait that much. For the whole time we were there musuc was playing just from one band, at the end it was getting on my nerves, being so hungry.

The restaurant will be closed for holidays from 27/07/2018 to 17/09/2018 included.
Went there with French friends.Warm welcome from staff. Attentive service. Wine list interesting and we drank some good wines. Escargots farci starter delicious. Main course - sea bass in particular - very, very nice. Deserts obviously home made and some were memorable.Only comment: we had English expats next to us who were loud and ill mannered. This is a small restaurant and this did spoil our evening somewhat.

Great service, lots of attention from staff and excellent food, large choice in menu. Had finally an all sea food meal . Everything was perfect at a very reasonable price, one of the advantages of going out of big cities. Unbeatable. If you are around here do try it . Thank you

My wife and I stopped here on our way back to Bayeux from Mont St Michel. This is a fairly modern looking restaurant. It serves brick oven pizza which was very good. The staff seemed friendly and nice. While we were there a large group was there and seemed to be enjoying themselves. While we were not with children, I think this would be a fine place if you had kids.

We were meeting friends for lunch here as a halfway point. Can recommend the promenade des remparts & a visit to the Egise Notre Dame (beautiful stained glass in a simple gothic building whilst there. We ate the lunchtime menu which changes daily. For 14.50 euros we enjoyed a starter of carpaccio of beef followed by pesto chicken with a curried carrot puree. The food was plentiful & you could have had cheese or dessert for an extra 4 euros. Good wine list by the glass or bottle. Service was efficient & friendly & it is well located below the ramparts close to the Tourist Information office.

We went very excited off the strength of the trip advisor reviews but we were disjunction disappointed. The starter salads were passable but our mains were bland and overpriced. I went to great pains to request a medium rare steak but received a tough, tasteless nasty piece of boot instead. The wine was not great either and we've had much better service in this region. I would not go back.
