We had a fine time at this restaurant for so many reasons, from the location to the food quality and the excellent service. The owner and staff do a great job of tending to the needs of their patrons, many are regulars. We had a 500 ml bottle of Bandol Rouge which was good, but not enough to sustain our evening. The Italian salad were shared was huge, with a large ball of fresh Mozzarella, delicious tomatoes over mixed greens on a bed of light balsamic. Our main courses were very good, from my wife's pasta carbonara to my delicate, but wonderful sea bass. We had a view of the beach/sea and were entertained by a saxophone musician for the last part of our meal. A very enjoyable evening! Highly Recommended!

We popped in here for a quite bite before driving back to our apartment in Nice. It struck us as being the best for us on a hot day in August with crowds of happy families having a great time - which is nice for old folks like us to enjoy vicariously. There's lots of choice here: salads / pizza /pasta / plats. My wife had a whole baby octopus (seiche) cooked perfectly on a plancha or grill, accompanied by plenty of nice things on the side, and beautifully present. I had a crepe: egg, bacon, emmental, creme fraiche - it was absolutely delicious, served with a simple garnish of salad. For these two plats, and an ice cream each, we paid just â¬32. It's an ideal spot for a spot of lunch and I am glad we spotted it. Enjoy! Phone: 04 94 26 12 31

We had dinner here and enjoyed the set meal which was of high quality. Highly recommend this place for lunch as you have a great view of the sea but dinner is also good as you can view the lights by the sea. Dessert is very good, portions are just nice. The wine here is slightly more expensive than elsewhere. Overall a great experience. Wait staff were extremely attentive and professional.

we wandered along the sea front to find somewhere to eat and came back to the Abordage because it offered an interesting menu du jour at a great price. The waiter immediately brought a carafe of chilled water and a grilled bread with tomato paste appetiser. We chose the menu du jour and a carafe of rose, which arrived well chilled with a bucket of ice cubes. The salad starter was good, parma ham and motzarella salad. The main was salmon tartare and quinoa, it was a generous portion. I saw the cafe gourmand other diners were eating and could not resist one, 16.90â¬. our neighbours were eating ravioli with cured ham and octopus salad respectively which looked very good also. very good french cuisine with an attractively priced menu du jour which many people were eating. they were quite busy. Definitely recommend this restaurantDear Mark ,It ´s ã pleasure for us to find every day ã New menu for everybody. We enjoy créate for you. Thanks for your visite and we hope to receive you EarlyCordially

Sunday Lunch for four.Les Quatre Vents is in a small group of restaurants near the beach. There is a car park next door, but it's a bit academic as it is full at weekends. Tables are available inside or out. Indoors there is air-conditioning, but it is feeble and possibly only benefits just one table in the entire establishment.Staff are mostly cheery and the owner plays a major role at front of house. On the cover of the menu, one is told this is "Chez Moules". However, no mussel dishes feature on the two set menus. Odd? Moules do figure on La Carte. Now, I love Moules, so I asked for some as my main. "I don't think we have any (in French)" was not an expected reply. It's a bit like McDonalds having no burgers!Eventually they found some, and I had Moules Marinière. The shellfish was beautifully cooked, but the liquor was little more than salt water and onions. Herbs, no. Garlic, no. Not very good.Luckily the rest of our group loved the Sea Bass, the Accras de Morue and steaks.Desserts were good. For a restaurant in a tourist area, it's pretty good.Go for a stroll along the prom after.

The restaurant looks great from the outside. It's very cosy and the staff is very helpful. I've been living in France for 10 years and I'd five 5/5 just for the staff...The food however was expensive and not very good... In fact, in the kitchen I only saw kids :( Trainees unsupervised I guess... We had the "Gambas" and the "Sèches". The gambas looked they had been cooked for a while and sit there waiting for beeing warm up in the microwave. The "Sèches" had no flavour at all. I know that places near the sea are all outpriced and sort of tourist scams, but I was expecting something much better...

We are frequently traveling to this region and discovered Le Restô today by hasard and decided to give it a try. While we have been disappointed by a lot of restaurants in the region, Le Restô was a very positive surprise! We ordered 4 dishes: Risotto with Gambas, Fresh Calamares and 2 pizza's. Each of the dishes was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The pizza's must have been the best I ever ate. Waw, better than in Italy! Also, the wine (we had rosé and red) was of excellent quality (Domaine Pieracci) and from the region (AOP Bandol). The staff was very friendly and asked several times if we were happy wit the food. Really friendly. The setting and scenery are just magnificent: sea, sunset,... We loved it!Le Restô is really delivering great quality at a reasonable price. We'll certainly come back!Dear Client,We are so grateful for your very positive comment.Iâm very happy you had a good moment with us.We hope to see you very soon again, for new foodies discovery, and more happy moments.Best regards.Sébastien ROGHI, OWNER
