Chose this restaurant after our visit to Mont Saint Michel as it stated it was vegetarian friendly - this is not accurate at all.Out of the entire menu there are only 4 vegetarian choices: one starter (plain omelette) and 3 vegetable side dishes. Being vegetarian. I was very disappointed with the restaurant description. However the staff were happy to combine the omelette start with one of the vegetable side dishes (Kumbawa crispies: a whole grain couscous thingy with cherry tomatoes and a little more salad). Both were freshly prepared. Their combined price was similar to the meat main dishes. The meat-eaters in the rest of my group were very impressed with the meat options and quality of food provided. Their response has pushed my rating up from3/5 to 4/5.The restaurant was clean and tidy. The staff were polite and spoke English relatively well. There was plenty of tables and we didnât need to reserve a table in advance.

My wife and I have frequented this bijou restaurant for many years now and in February 2019the ownership changed again which made me realise that although a restaurant may have hundreds of reviews all full of praise and it is high in the rankings that of itself is not a true indication of quality/value at any given time as changes of ownership or even just a chef can make all the difference so it is important that guests keep writing reviews so that readers will have an awareness of the situation now not 5 years ago.I am very pleased to say that in the case of Le Grillion new owners have maintained the high standards of food quality, the warmness of welcome and the consistency of value based on our recent visit. We will definitely be there again next month when we return to France.A note of caution: when there has been a public holiday the restaurant seems not to open the following day.I'd still recommend.

During a week's stay at a Gites in Roz sur Couesnon we ventured out 6 km to this Hotel/Restaurant and reserved a table for 9 one evening. Two were disappointed with their rabbit, I enjoyed my 9 oysters, entrecote steak and excellent cheese. The most disappointing part were the very soggy chips! The bill came to 178 euros close to £160 for 9 (3 children). My wife did not like the cheap white house wine but I did enjoy the local beer and cider. A mixed review but I must say how much the waitress gave EXCELLENT service throughout the meal. Thank you so much!

We arrived on Saturday night without a reservation and were fortunate to get the last table. My wife had a vegetarian gallette and I had fish soup and a four cheese pizza. Both or parent nicely. We have a small picture of wine and two desserts. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent.

We were sent to this restaurant by a local. Everything was great. We both had seafood which appears to be their specialty. Everything was very reasonably priced. The wind as well. A whole bottle for less than â¬20. The desserts were fantastic. We also had the local drink the cavaldos. It is similar to a cognac but is made with apples. Really good. I personally think this restaurant should be rated number one in Beauvoir.

We recommend the menu. Good price/qualify! Oysters are delicious and good main dishes. I however didnât like the dame blanche at all, we have better ice cream in Belgium. A bottle of Sancerre accompanied the food just fine. Thank you for the hospitality

Do get a reservation as this is a small and popular restaurant. Mussels were on the menu with 7 different sauces. I had curry and my husband had Camembert. Both were very good. Wine is reasonably priced. Service was very good also. This is a donât miss place.

The Place to Be
Given the location, it's probably the best restaurant 10 miles around. However if you are on holidays nearby, I'd probably head to St Malo/Cancale for a nicer experience. The food was good, but there was always something that was not quite right. For the price we paid, that was acceptable, but given the choice, we would not come back. The service was cold at the beginning, but warmed up as the night went along.Seems they don't get many tourists as the waitress flagged us while serving the appetizer "So you're spending a week end in Brittany?" (got the impression everyone else in the room were locals).Ok, down to the food:They have several menu, from 23 to 60+We hadAppetizer: Terrine de chevreuil (game pate)The pate itself was very good, well seasoned, nice flavour. However it was served with some green salad with average sauce, 2 slice of smoked duck breast that felt totally out of place, and some curry powder on the side that didn't look right. My wife had a terrine de cabillaud saumon (cod/salmon pate) which was absolutely delicious. Not sure why, but it actually tasted of crab, so it made a very nice plate for just 13 EUR.Main: Gigolette de pintade farcie aux champignons (it's a kind of chicken leg stuffed with mushroom). The stuffing was the highlight, packed with flavors. The rest was just ok: the chicken skin was not crispy enough to be eaten, and it was served with a sauce that we both did NOT like (which was very disappointing).I had a fondant au choclat for dessert, very good but too sweet. The bill came under 52 EUR for:* 1 glass of wine* 1 soft drink* 1 menu (3 courses) @23 EUR* 1 appetizer + main a la carte (13+11)* 1 coffeeOne last note: the music was really not appropriate for a restaurant that pretends to be French gastronomic: mainly salsa/south american.

After my hotel reservation was not honored on Le Mont. St.-Michel I was placed into a time share in Roz-sur-Couesnon. A 15 km drive from Mont. St.-Michel I was DISAPPOINTED! The lady at the time share suggested Les 4 Salines which is down a small country road in a corn field. Upon arriving at 6:50 pm it was not open and I had no reservations but, as soon as they opened at 7:00 pm a gentleman sat us at a table. The food was magnificent that all I can say. Never quite understood what all the hoopla was about chocolate mousse. Now I know. It was incredible. If you are within 100 km of this place, go and enjoy.

If you are not paying attention you will drive by. Very comfortable inside tables with outside option. Simple meals, quickly and well prepared, prompt service from the friendly wait staff. All you can ask for in a rural roadside location. There should be more user friendly restaurants like this one. Thanks you.
