Considered by many to be Brighton's best restaurant, backed up by its status in the Good Food Guide, The Restaurant at Drakes is an elegantly stylish setting for any occasion. Subtle lighting casts moody shadows across exposed brickwork and rich colours t
Was recommended by our hotel. We were frankly surprised at how great this food was...on a par with any high end Washington DC restaurant. Perfection from the bread to the watercress soup to the lamb main course and soufflé dessert. Who says English food sucks? Not me!

Petit Pois is a French Restaurant located in the heart of The Lanes. We are just steps away from a sea side, where our rustic interior gives you a warm and homely feeling with a charming atmosphere, it is a perfect venue for a romantic rendezvous or intim
Bright, cheerful, small french restaurant. We had duck rilettes, and goats cheese croquettes to start, followed by pork belly and raviolo, then shared two very good puddings. The food was lovely, and very tasty. The service was pleasant and efficient. This restaurant is quite noisy, but on a good way, everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. This was a test run for us as we have booked for Christmas lunch. Now I'm really looking forward to it.

Independent family run restaurant using seasonal, local, fresh produce. Semolina Bistro is located on Baker Street next to the Open Market, only 10 mins walk from the Brighton station, 15 mins from the Pavilion. Monthly changing bistro menu is served alon
Have eaten here several times, and enjoyed all aspects. The restaurant is small and cosy, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food is special. The chef owner cooks well, and changes the menu regularly. Simple dishes cooked well, and nothing that is fussy or beyond the chef's ability - I wish more restaurants did that. The customers are regulars, and there is a pleasant atmosphere. The prices are reasonable, and the drinks menu is short and concise.

Early evening meal. It gets very busy as the evening goes on so you need to book. The food was amazing - ham and cheese platter then Valencia paella. Best paella we have tasted and easily big enough for two. We shared the nougat dessert plus sherry. Excellent service. Total bill £78 +service charge.Hello Stephan -Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we love to hear our customers feedback. We're very glad to hear you enjoyed the tapas so much! Mediterraneo Deli is a slice of Sicily specialising in regional Sicilian food. Restaurant by night, they also enjoy catering for all events, from lunch meetings to dinner parties and weddings. Friday & Saturday evenings, by reservation only.
We decided to visit after reading reviews here on TripAdvisor and the reviews were not wrong. The food and wine were delicious and the attention to detail and level of knowledge and service we received is among the best weâve had anywhere in the world. Mediterraneo is a charming and romantic place to spend an evening and we will definitely return.

The tasty food on offer ranges from handcrafted sandwiches, superfood salads, soups, smoothies, daily specials and a good range of vegan, gluten-free, nut-free and sugar-free alternatives
Small place where we stopped by during a summer visit due to TripAdvisor suggestion. Best sandwiches I had: all three we had were superb (beef, lamb, haddock). Tasty, crunchy, definitely local. Worth a visit, even because we spent just 20£. Super!

PLEASE NOTE: Jane Bom-Bane, who runs Bom-Bane's, has been out of action for a while, so the cafe will only be opening for certain nights In Nov and Dec. Chefs Andre and singer/chef Eliza will still be putting on pop-up foodie and music nights. See website
Limited seating. Belgium food. Sausages and mash PLUS Belgium beer. See my YouTube interview with Jane under Jilliana in Brighton. Music and singing in the basement down a metal spiral staircase. There used to be a cinema club on Wednesdayâs with food. Check if still going on. Excellent place. Highly recommended. Go, go, go!!

Welcome to the first Photo Design Cafe Bar in the UK. We are a little independent business that merges creative design ideas with creative dining. Due to occasional private hire, the opening hours may vary, so it is best to give us a call, drop us an emai
We had a fabulous evening at TheWitchez, the food was fantastic, we had a range of dietary considerations within our group which were well catered for, nothing was too much trouble. Even the dogs were well catered for. Everyone enjoyed every course/element of our meal. The service was brilliant, Maddie took the time to explain the menu, and how the individual dishes could be adapted to our requirements. The surroundings were so relaxed, it felt like we were have a lovely dinner at home. I cannot recommend TheWitchez enough, they are passionate about what they do, and genuinely care about their customers. A real gem. X

Easy to find in the picturesque village of Rottingdean you will find the French inspired restaurant, Bistro Gourmand. French chef Frank Thomeret tell us about his creation. "It's very much a bistro thing, but its original, traditional bistro food, things
We found Bistro Gourmand by chance on Wednesday lunchtime after discovering that The Trellis was closed. What a piece of luck! The three of us enjoyed widely differing meals, all freshly prepared and delicious, served at a leisurely pace while we enjoyed the sunshine in the outside seating area. Definitely a place to come back to, as we want to sample some of the other wonderful-sounding (and very French) items on the menu. The interior of the restaurant looks very inviting, and we though about coming one evening. We were told, however, that for an evening meal we would have to book weeks in advance. And the prices are not ridiculous.
