Just returned from a Father's Day breakfast and found the whole experience a little disappointing. The staff were friendly and attentive, although they were not sure of were orders were suppose to be delivered. The venue is very good, with a lovely outlook and very pleasant surroundings. The meals we ordered were not that spectacular considering the price we paid. Not a whole lot of flavour considering they say they source local and organic. Definitely have had much better. Coffee was good.I wouldn't recommend or return.

We ate in the alfresco area which had nice Vista of the dam and distant mountain range. The overhead heaters kept the area comfortable and throws were available if you felt the need to warm-up a bit âºThe wait staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable of the whole menu.We order the S&P calamari, goats cheese tartlets and garlic/chilli prawns. The S&P Squid consisted of 8 small pieces with aoili dip. The lightly batteted squid was very tender but we couldn't taste the seasoning. We needed to add salt. This dish was ok but overpriced at $26There was 4 goat cheese (locally made) tartlets with caramelised onion topped with a tasty relish. This dish was very tasty and reasonably priced at $22There was 6 medium-large prawns served in a cast iron pot with ample garlic/chilli oil accompanied with 6 small triangular pieces of nice bread. This dish was tasty but overpriced at $36.The orange/cinnamon infused arancini balls was an unusual combination but so delicious. The 4 balls were coated in panko crumbs and fried perfectly. The single small scoop of vanilla icecream was good quality but another scoop was needed The beverage prices are at the limit of what I'm willing to pay.Overall, a very pleasant lunch but felt some of the dishes portion sizes could be improved compared to some other restaurants in the local area we've frequented. We will return to try some of the other dishes.Thankyou Ian for your review-We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the tapas and flavours along with the service which we pride ourselves on :)

Light-filled restaurant with country-chic decor with vineyard views, serves genuine French fare combining flavours with relaxation. Friendly professional service is a high note. We loved the European influenced serenity. Located on a beautiful property at Mount view it sit on top of a hill at Tallavera grove. Between the spectacular aspect similar of French provincial country, it offers a serene, amazing, unspoilt part of the Hunter valley. Wonderful destination
