Being a vegetarian itâs not always easy to find good. In âIl Recuperoâ the food wasnât only good - it was super delicious. The starter âSpinach-Ricotta Ravioliâ might not sound so exciting, but it was sooo tasty. The smoked Ricotta on the top was like the icing of the cake. I couldâve eaten a triple portion of this. Easily! As a main I was served a mouthwatering combination of quinoa and cabbage with a creamy sauce. The presentation was beautiful and the dish simply very tasty, yet healthy. The last, but not least. The Creme Brûlée. Not often do you get a Creme Brûlée with both a perfect texture and taste. Usually always one of them is mediocre. This one was absolutely lovely. 10 points. Thanks you for a lovely dining experience. Also the wine list seemed impressive and my husband did enjoy his meat with grappa experience. We will be back !

We came here again and for the third time we got a stunning experience. The prosciutto cotto steamed at 68 degrees was undescribable. And... I don't like prosciutto cotto. My friend ate a huge, elegant, and soucy hamburger with fried leek. Undescribable experience.

English Pub
We were looking for an early dinner and found it at this pub...opened at 19:00! We both ordered a couple of cheese burgers with fries and some drinks. The burgers were rather large, served with a toasted sesame bun, and various combinations...mine had lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and a fried egg...tasty. The fries were crisp, not greasy and were delicious. My wife had the same without the egg and onions. She enjoyed the touch of home as well. Our server did a great job as well. Very reasonable prices made the visit even better!

Historical site, located in the historic downtown of Bassano del Grappa. Traditional meeting place for the Bassanesi, ideal for aperitifs that can then continue with a lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is very cool, and there is a chance to meet the charact
Bright and attractive restaurant in the old city. Two of the serving staff spoke English fluently, and kindly assisted us with the menu, which was in Italian. We had very tasty, well-prepared meals. Everything was delicious. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mozart Bistro to our friends

I came here with some colleagues with some hopes based on the good reviews, and I must say I was delighted with my choice! Service was good and the staff was friendly. Food was of high quality, and portions were quite OK (even if the main course was a bit too much). The wild boar fillet was tender and melted nicely in the mouth, the asparagus quiche was tasty, and the white chocolate mousse was delicious. All this at a very reasonable price.Definitely recommended!

This is another place that had been recommended by a friend who visits the area regularly. As always, he was spot on.They have a very comfortable room with a lot of interesting things to hold your attention while waiting for your food. There is a nice contrast of elegant china and crystal in the rustic setting.Service was friendly and efficient. We were a party of four and everything came out together and was properly prepared. The menu seems to change seasonally, if not weekly. We started with two of the appetizer trays what had a lot in interesting things including carpaccio of venison and a number of seafood items. The pasta portions were large enough to share â an order of gnocchi and an order of risotto for four people. We ordered four different secondi, mostly meat, and all were great. The wine list was deep and reasonably priced, especially the local wines. We would return without hesitation.

We were staying at Villa Ca Sette and read the restaurant had a Michelin Star. We were attended by a sweet waitress and orders were then taken by a male waiter with serious attitude. He had no patience and no manner spoiling our evening with his arrogance. When he brought food to the table it was almost as if he was doing us a favour and then depositing the plates in the table without a word. He needs serious training. Lack of English he did not have, just lack of mannersThe food was nothing to rave about. Roast beef slices curled around a plate with some green mash and asparagus fried with some dipping sauce in an empty egg shell

Garden Relais is the perfect combination of ambiance and food. The staff are very welcoming, rapid and knowledgeable in terms of Menu and recommendations. The food in itself is impeccable with an extraordinary variety ranging from pizza, pasta, meat and fish platters. This is equally applicable to the desserts.I recommend going for lunch and sitting outside to enjoy the view and the atmosphere. Also, it is definitely a place for banquets and/or celebrations! We dined here last night and it was absolutely delightful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and in excellent condition. Signore Guglielmo and Ana took great care of us this evening. He was very detailed in explaining his fresh fish offerings for that night and very patient as I understand Italian but I don't speak it fluently. He prepared starters of fresh gnocchi in a pomodoro sauce for my wife and a lighty smoked swordfish for me. He also brought a small tasting of the gnocchi for me. Both were outstanding! The swordfish was thinly sliced on a bed of fresh crisp lettuce and drizzled with an olive oil, vinegar and lemon dressing, seasoned with salt and pepper just right. The gnocchi was light, the pomodoro sauce was as fresh and flavorful as we have ever had. We then had a seafood fagioli soup which included calamari and shrimp, very hearty and tasty. We were getting full and concerned that we would not be able to enjoy our second piatti. Our main came, branzino grilled and simply served with fresh lemons on the side. The fish was about 2 pounds, so it was a good size for the two of us. The plates were oven-hot and I could still hear the juices sizzling. It was grilled to perfection and expertly seasoned, no need to add anything to it! The skin was crispy, the fish was amazing, even my wife enjoyed it as she is not a big fan of fish. The seasoning, the fresh lemon juice and the freshness of the fish was absolutely fantastic. We had no room for dessert so we just enjoyed the rest of our rosè and watched the dining room get fuller. Signore Guglielmo and his wife Ana took personal care of everyone. He noticed that I got up to get a look at the fresh fish that he was displaying to a table and then decided to bring the various offerings to our table for us to look at before serving them to his other customers, it was so kind of him to interact with us to that level. He takes great pride in his cuisine and it is obvious how precise he is with his preparations. It was a high level show of great cuisine. We will be back as we are staying nearby for ten days.

Once in a while, you get very lucky and find a gem. This was my lucky day! Trying to find a restaurant within walking distance from our bed and breakfast, I stumbled upon this jewel. It is a combination store, wine cantina and very small restaurant (about 6 tables)but they serve up food fit for a king! Not only that, we sat in their cantinetta ( small wine cellar) that only accomodated one table. Simone, the owner, was our waiter and he made sure that our evening was very special. First, he brought us the tenderest and lightest fried pumpkin flowers. Then a seafood antipasto with octopus and a zucchini sauce (incredible). Homemade bread with carrots and pumpkin seeds as well as other delightful breads. Our entree was a risotto with porcini and a special cheese from the area. For dessert, profriteroles made in house with chocolate and whipped cream. OMG! This little place is on the outskirts of Bassano del Grappa in Romano d'Ezzelino. If you are ever in Bassano del Grappa, make it your business to go there! Sorry, but some of the pictures were of half eaten food...we got excited and ate before thinking about the pictures but rest assured, they were beautifully presented when they came out. If you are a wine connoisseur, you will love this place as well.
