Our amazing experience with Lucâs Cafe can be summed up as âtotally chaoticâ. Starting from the decoration of mix-match style, confusing services, and second-rated French cuisine, strangely somehow the place did quite well. The place can be charming if we look only at the interior deco. However when we ordered âKir Imperialâ and the waitress did not know the drink. We told her it is a mix of champagne and chamborg. The bartender corrected us and offered us something else. We did not mind to try the new mix. Eventually our major disappointment was the food. We ordered foie gras terrine and duck confit which were the speciality of the house together with a bottle of Sancerre. After lunch, our experience was overall summed up to be disappointed.

French Restaurant Creperie located in the market place in Ridgefield CT Serving lunch & dinner. brunch on weekend
We recently stopped here with friends. I had the onion soup which was just OK. I would not order it again. However friends ordered salads and raved about them. I can say that the Croque-Madame was the best I have ever had and would certainly order it again. I wish we had discovered this place years ago.

Great location, friendly staff, good coffee. The acoustics are poor--hard to hear inside. Delicious baked goods. Sit outside and people watch as ridgefield walks by.
