The service was great. The waiter was very friendly. I had red snapper and my husband had sea spaghetti. The snapper was very fresh and well cooked. Unfortunately the vegetables were over cooked. The sea spaghetti was a massive and could have easily fed two people. The taste was amazing. The secret ingredient was Madeira wine. Good value for money

This may be small but it has a large personality,a large selection of beer is on offer and we were able to choose something different for everyoneâs taste. They only do a small amount of food but the cheese and meat plate was very good and we will visit again.

The Old Pharmacy,a place were you can find the best of portuguese art and taste. We can find portuguese souvenirs, teas, wines and tapas of the highest quality.
Streetside eating at it's very best. When the holidaymakers go home this is one of those lovely, slightly off the beaten track, cafes that isnt crammed with visitors. Food is great, mixed tapas, gorgeous brownies for dessert with perfect ice cream, Its not the cheapest of eateries but then I want goods service, great food and a local environment and this ticks all the boxes.

Very tasty food. We had two meat dishes and they where delicious. The menu has a big selection of meat dishes but there is also fish dishes that you can order. The selection of meat dishes seems to me to have a bigger variety than other restaurants. The sea can be seen from the restaurant and you can enjoy the busy street life.

Situated in an elevated position at the end of the beach, the restaurant has an unbeatable view on the beach and the village (especially from the small terrace). Menu is typical Maderian. Our fish (parrot) and squids were good. Service was efficient but not smily. Prices were reasonable for the fish of the day and slightly above average otherwise. Overall a good choice.
Space for 40 people inside, and the esplanade can receive 20 more people. You can enjoy two types of views, the sea view and views of the mountains. Restaurant is cozy and the ambiance is fantastic. Come enjoy our magnificent palates!
Three of us were staying in Tabua for a hiking holiday, and stumbled across this place by chance. By then we'd already eaten in supposedly great restaurants in Ribeira Brava a couple of times, but this far surpassed all of them. The staff were really friendly, and the food was excellent. My greatest regret is that I couldn't visit them enough times to try everything on the menu. The menu is limited but like Gordon Ramsay once said, 'whà t they do, they do well' is an apt comment. Only possible negative is that the desserts could be more typically Portugese, which could attract more foreign visitors. Definite 5 star.Thank you very much for your visit and for your comment. I hope to see you again.

A very local place, full of Madeirians eating there with their families on weekends. We were there after the big wave of locals . The food is fresh, tasty, the chicken and the steaks are nicely prepared. It is organized in a strange way. In one place you order and pay for the meat, in a second one you order and pay for side orders and drinks and in a third place you get your food and eat. Not all the staff speak English but they are very nice and I recommend to have a meal there.

We asked for local specials and got the limpas (a mollusk type shellfish) and the shrimp- both of which were very good. Along with green wine it was a perfect afternoon repast by the sea I one of the more western towns of Madeira. The church is Early 1900âs but still beautiful. Not much to see but enjoy the beautiful views here and to get here - one of the many beautiful stops along the coast in Madeira.

O Restaurante Muralha Esta Localizado Na Zona Nobre Da Vila Da Ribeira Brava, Mais Especificamente Junto A Praia Por De Cima Do Parque De Estacionamento. A Nossa Especialidade E Cozinha Tradicional Portuguesa A Base De Grelhados.
Absolutely wonderful fresh food, expertly cooked and presented! Great views! The best (and most!) tuna I have ever had. Octopus and squid skewers were so good. Lovely, friendly staff. Having read the bad reviews, I find it hard to believe itâs the same restaurant. Weâll be back; a gem!
