The Petit Lauragais is in the historic center of Manosque and was a pleasant surprise. There is a characteristic menu from the terroir, and evrything was extremely tasty. I had the duck and it was perfect. Only small complain is that service is pretty slow, but it's ok. Price is very very good compared to quality

We were looking for a bistrot with a fair price and good food, but this place really deserves a authentic recommendation. Presentation, staff, agility, everything was perfect. For a couple with a glass of wine you will spend 35 euro each, but REALLY well spend !!! Thanks for the experience !

We visited Le Petit Jardin on the recommendation of the lady who owns the mill we were staying in. The setting was fantastic. A beautiful courtyard garden with both locals and tourists contributing to the gentle ambience of the restaurant.Slight problems with the language barrier, but fortunately an Australian lady at the next table spoke good French so was able to explain that I didn't eat meat. My husband and I shared the musssels to start - absolute heaven. I had the vegetarian ravioli as a main course. I think I can honestly say it is the best ravioli I have tasted, although it looked more like a little lasagne than the parcels I expected. I had the creme brulee (my favourite dessert), and it didn't disappoint. Again, I feel the best creme brulee I have ever had. Would not hesitate to recommend this fantastic restaurant.

Among the limited restaurant offerings in Mane, this is easily the star. A fantastic restaurant. The mussels apetizer was great, and enough to give a good taste to everybody in a family of four. The highly recommended wood-fired pizza was unavailable, but me and my brother had the hamburger, which was unlike any hamburger I've ever had. The meat was really fresh and super high quality, and the inside of the burger was practically raw and super tender. The sauces for the hamburger were great. It was easily the best hamburger I've ever had. The thai food is O.K., but nothing like the French offerings, so it isn't recommended. We didn't get to try the desert offerings, but I'm sure they're excellant. The wine was great and super good value. The restaurant looked amazing on the inside, and with the wood fire on, it must be absolutely fantastic. The wood-fired pizza was only on the weekends, at least during the off season.

In the middle of Haute Provence and not far from Forcalquier, Revest des Brousses is a pretty, pictiresque hiltop village... Lupin Blanc is a lovely refreshing haven of peace with a flower-filled terrace for summers and a chemine for winters, Marie and Ke
This is my fourth review of Lupin Blanc, spread over several years, and my opinion hasn't changed in that time. It's an excellent family-run restaurant, with great food, friendly and efficient service, a relaxed and happy atmosphere, and in a small, photogenic square in a picturesque old village. One can eat outside in the square, or inside in the restaurant. The host speaks good English.A minor drawback is that parking in the square is limited, but there's more space a little way down the hill.My wife and I have eaten at the Lupin Blanc on several occasions times during our current holiday in the area, and we would happily do so again ... and again. If only we weren't returning to the UK shortly!

Excellent tasty French food that's very reasonably priced and well known in the area of Cereste. Closed on wednesday evening and tuesday.
Auberge de Carluc was an excellent meal in an excellent atmosphere. They offer two-course pré-fixe's if you don't think you could eat a whole three courses. The plats du jours were excellent, as well as the desserts, which included apple pie, baba au rhum, tiramisu, mousse au chocolate, and others. I really recommend this place.

The taste of the fun;-) A warm the pleasure of eating together and slate ... culture! (Concerts, Lectures, exhibitions, screenings, ...) In partnership with the library Regain.
We stopped at the café by chance after a day's travel around beautiful Provence... the food was the best we've eaten in Provence, especially for vegetarians, like the two of us, nice jazz concert with nice French people dancing and participating all around. Beautiful experience!

I had a really nice dinner tonight with a wonderful steak and mushrooms with lots of gravy and vegetables. Afterwards I had a great cheeseplate and ice cream with cookies. It's the best restaurant in Montfouron and one of my favourites!Come here for a great dinner but book first as they can be very busy especially in summer.Enjoy the great ambiance and great food! :)

We were staying at a lovely little hotel in this village and arrive around 4 pm and had a beer at the cafe over the road. We nipped over to see if they had space for 3 to dine that evening and were nicely recieved by the friendly staff who booked us for 8pm. We turned up on time and had a lovely table out on the front veranda. We ordered wine and were brought a lovely little fritatta type nibble. We decided on the 4 course dinner. The waitress was very helpful as we don't have much French. We accidentally ordered 2 carafes of wine but she knew our mistake and only served us one.The dinner was outstanding! The courgette starter was fantastic - beautifully presented and so delicious. I had the tuna for my main and it was incredible. Cooked perfectly with a tasty potato side and vegetables. Then a small plate of cheeses - all delicious and creme brulee for dessert - absolute yum!!Our long, slow delicious dinner was the best we ate in all of France! There is no rush. Each table is only set for you so we enjoyed our 3 hours here. The one waitress dealt with all of the tables with smiling efficiency. This was our one blow-out dinner of our trip. It is a little more expensive than where we would usually eat and more courses than usually managed but the whole leisurely, flavourful experience was fantastic. If you are staying in or around this lovely little village, you must eat here, but you should definiteley book. We were there on a Tuesday and they had to turn away a few groups who hadn't booked.

My wife and I always make a point of eating at La Pastorale when we're on holiday in the area. It's nearly two years since we were last here, but the pleasant location and relaxed ambience, the high quality and reasonable price of the food, and the friendliness of the managers - Jessica and Martin - haven't changed. Lunch was a delight and we hope to return for more before we return home.
