Established in 2001, Tony's is one of Johannesburg's most popular restaurants. A South African restaurant with strong Italian influences, we serve delicious al'fresco style meals ranging from antipasti, salads, pizza and pasta, to tasty meat and seafood d
The place buzzers, waiters on the ball, great menu and variety of Italian food and very seldom do they start the menu with whatâs not available. Food exceptionally well prepared, a slight premium but with while. Parking good, well lite and worth a visitThank you for your wonderful review! We really do appreciate the comments!

As we entered Piccolo Mondo, we were welcomed by almost every front line staff member. So nice to see so many happy staff member at 6:30am. We loved the variety of food on display for breakfast buffet. They have fresh fruit, cereals with yoghurts, juices, tea or coffees, cold meats, cheeses, Asian food, cooked breakfast. My husband and I were very impressed with the customer service we received. Dear brettnjess, Thank you for your wonderful review on TripAdvisor. Located in the Michelangelo Towers at the Nelson Mandela Square, Pigalle Sandton has become a benchmark in urban-chic dining where government and business men and women swarm to wine and dine like kings and queens. The venue reflects the Goncalves brother
Overall, this place is solid 4 with excellent service and ambiance. We had a party of 4 for dinner. Both oysters and duck spring rolls were excellent appetizer choices. For entrees we ended up ordering lobster thermidore, chicken peri peri, sole in lemon butter sauce and beef fillet with green peppercorn sauce and steamed vegetables. Chicken was the most flavorful dish, lobster was good (a huge portion as well), beef fillet was subpar and sole was just a plain unmemorable and too dense fish entree. A quick comment on beef - this was not your typical 2 inch thick US fillet mignon, more of 1/2â properly cooked fillet. Steamed vegetables were severely undercoked. We ordered creme brulee and chocolate fondant for desserts, they were the best part of our dining experience. We had several different wines with our dinner and they were nice. Overall, we had a great time.

Always a treat. Arguably Joburg's finest Italian-inspired eatery, serving classic Italian dishes, some with a local flair, and a few other international fine-dining offerings. The risotto is an absolute triumph, as is the gnocchi. The Porcini chicken with pea risotto as a Secondi will rival the quality of any Tuscan Michelin-star offering, and the roasted butternut ravioli with Porcini-Truffle cream and candied walnuts is perfection personified. Desserts are inspirational. The pavlova is incredibly special, as is the Salted Caramel Brûlée with popcorn Gelato. Expect fine dining, beautiful decor, prices that are slightly higher than the norm (although very reasonable if one considers the serving sizes and the quality), impeccable service and a fantastic wine list and drinks menu, with reasonably priced cocktails. This is a top-class establishment serving only the finest of Italian pastas, meats, seafood, desserts and drinks. Not only one of Joburg's finest, but one of the finest Italian eateries South Africa has to offer. Café Del Sol Classico is an institution. You will leave with a smile on your face and an even bigger smile in your belly. Hello BradWow. Cafe del Sol Botanico When the seed of Cafe del Sol was planted many years ago, we nourished, nurtured and tended it with love and pride. As Cafe del Sol grew and blossomed, we, and our guests, grew with it. From the fruit of Cafe del Sol, a new seed took
A friend and I had lunch at Café del Sol. Being winter, we chose to be seated inside. We thought we had decided on our food choice when the waiter took us through the specials of the day - we both changed our minds and ordered the bacon and brie fillet. Wow, it was superb - tender meat under baked brie and surrounded by crispy bacon - a feast of tastes! We shared a glass of wine and declined dessert.Hello LesThank you for this extraordinary detailed review! We are thrilled to have provided you with food of such strong praise! This is indeed the standard that we aim for.We hope to see you soon for another glass of vino.Kindest regards,The Botanico team

The exciting addition to Clico was the new restaurant opened in October 2015. Off-street parking accessible from Jellicoe Avenue allows for easy access to Clico Restaurant. Clico has become renowned for being an intimate establishment, offering personalis
Creative menu that will satisfy any foodie, making use of seasonal/local ingredients, presented beautifully by a chef who obviously takes pride in his work. He made a point of visiting our table when we arrived. We stayed at the hotel and liked the food so much we ate at the restaurant every night rather than venturing out. We couldn't imagine finding better elsewhere!Dear gmw725, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It's lovely reading how you enjoyed your time and Clico and we proud to hear how you enjoyed the meals and that you got to meet our Chef. Who is indeed a very creative chef. We look forward to having you back with us real soon. Kind RegardsJaco Wheeler

Wombles is a destination restaurant which comfortably caters for corporate groups whilst simultaneously accommodating intimate diners.
What a great venue, ambiance, service and food. It was winter and they had fires outside to huddle around, before going in to the restaurant - a bit like going back into the past and reminded me of visiting Zimbabwe many years ago. Definitely an African theme. Itâs expensive, but the food is exceptional and very personalized service, including the owners/managers. Definitely worth a visit - just do it!

Great little restaurant tucked away in a small shopping centre.Recently refurbished with nice relaxing decor but completely functional.Food is Portuguese or Mozambique style with super seafood, chicken peri peri and such like. Staff are great and very attentive without being fussy and prices really reasonable, much cheaper than Sandton.Could not recommend more highly.
