We visited the restaurant L'Antre Temps and found a beautiful covered terrace with a fantastic seasonal menu, with a great vegetarian choice. Everything was hand made, including the chips, veggie flan and beautiful salad. The staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome. Great value for money and a nice way to spend a lazy lunch.

Situated in the Upper Aude Valley, Atelier is open all year and invites you to come and discover his Breton specialties, buckwheat pancakes and crepes, salads, tapas and sundaes ... A pleasant setting and boasts a permanent exhibition of pottery, and a ch
Stopped here for lunch after reading reviews. Spotlessly clean and friendly service. We both had small salads followed by crêpe. The salads, although only 4/5 euros were a good size, very fresh and with lots of tasty dressing. Thin light crêpes with local honey. Everything was totally delicious. The bill with a bottle of Normandy cidre was 30 Euros. Wish we were staying nearer to eat here again. Highly recommended.

We've been passing this hotel/restaurant for years and wondering what it was like and yesterday decided to try Sunday lunch there. As a fan of 1970s decor I was slightly disappointed that the dining room has had a makeover at some point, but I'm sure no one else would find that an issue . . . It's a lovely place in all ways: welcoming and professional staff - I think possibly of the same family who own the place? perfect service - (just right, polite but friendly, not rushed) loved the French music playing, proper cutlery, white table cloths, and the fact that there was a choice of just two menus - i.e, fresh food and nothing lurking in a freezer out the back.Another nice touch was the wine. I only wanted a glass but the waitress opened a bottle of very good 'Piquemal' rosé for me with as much ceremony as if we were going to indulge in the whole bottle. So, to the food. Wonderful. Big salad starter with nice dressing and interesting combination of vegetables - not fussy but tasty; lovely magret de canard with mushroom sauce, stuffed courgette and potato 'cakes', cheese and followed by huge vanilla ice-cream with hot choc sauce. The price was very reasonable for Sunday lunch and judging by the joyous large party on the table behind our, others were feeling they had made a good choice too.

Laid back service does not come more carefree or laid back than here.Sat for 15 minutes before being served - had to go in inside the end.Not cheap beer - 4.50 Eurp each for a 500ml glass (see photo).Still nice location on one of the Squares in Quillan - nice spot on a sunny day.2278OOS

After a very long travel day I checked in to this hotel and had a light and delicious dinner. The menu is really interesting, I only had an entrée, a cheering glass of the Blanquette de Limoux ( the original French sparkling wine, according to some) and a delicious glass of red wine. I watched other diners enjoy beautiful looking dishes, one couple had cassoulet, the portions were very generous and they seemed to be very happy with their choice.!Staff was very friendly and welcoming and they spoke English and even offered a menu in English. Lovely place. Great food. Relaxed ambience. Merci!

A delicious meal, fresh produce, well cooked and all the charm you would want in a traditional French bistro. The owners/staff are friendly and welcoming. We had the menu de jour, mine -warm goats cheese salad, grilled lamb with wild rice and vegetables then creme brûlée. Three course Meal for two with a pitcher of wine and coffee less than 40 Euro,

Arrival at this holiday camp made us think we'd made a very bad decision. The reception area confirmed that. However, the food was well cooked and presented and good value. Service was also very good and it's going to be one of very few places open on a Monday evening. Good local wine choices at good value prices. Strangely recommended.Good morning Supperhunter,Thank you for letting us know what you though of our restaurant. It is indeed open at lunch and dinner time 7/7.The restaurant will be renovated and refurbished very soon alongside many other improvement works in the residence. We are very pleased you liked the food as it is our pride to make our clients discover the local, fresh products and Mediterranean dishes, as well as regional wines.Wishing to welcome you again very soon in Le Brantalou,Best regards,

We celebrated my birthday here with some friends and had a lovely meal. The presentation was surprisingly good and the individual quality very good.We had 2 x avocado and prawn salads, 1 seafood and 1 Greek salad. (the Greek salad was not great).Mains were a rare rib eye for me with shallot sauce, a beef and duck brochette, a duck breast (that was particularly good) and Spaghetti Carbonara. All were nicely cooked. With sparkling wine (Salaza Crement), a bottle of simple Chardonnay and a bottle of local red the whole bill including coffees and desserts was 168 â¬. Good value and very friendly service from the gentleman serving.

After a long drive in torrential rain, we were desperate for a meal. Restaurant Canal did not disappoint. We had confit de canard at E13.00. Included potatoes, grilled tomato and mushrooms set in egg. Really delicious and well presented. Also glass of red @ E3 per glass was very acceptable. Service spot on, and lovely staff. Would use again like a shot.

Three of us (including one vegetarian)had an excellent lunch. We went for the crepes and were very glad we did. Both savoury and sweet were fine, as was the apple crumble! Also prompt, friendly and helpful service despite our rudimentary French. Very reasonably priced - under 50 euros for two courses and drinks for 3.
