Only 10 rooms with a small restaurant and cafe. The rooms are small but cozy with robes and other nice amenities. Hotel staff is very friendly and attentive and the location is great...a short walk from the beach and dozens of shops, cafes, oyster bars and other restaurants.

Everything was extremely fresh and decent but no great in the set lunch - the dessert course was nothing special - waffle with chocolate sauce. Not much of an ambiance though - no view - lots of families with screaming babies while we were there. We saw lots of other places on the drive towards town that had great beach views... maybe check for those sorts of places on a searchWe're sorry you feel on a day or all babies crying , but we unfortunately can not control this kind of situation , i agree that it spoils the moment ! We could move to another room if you asked . I hope you will not keep bad memories of our restaurant and you will give us another chance to satisfy you in a different context .

Went here for lunch, then returned a week later for dinner. Both times, we ordered the market menu, which was both very good and good value. Carpaccio came with a mixed salad, along with a surprising (and delicious) tomato sorbet. Very tender duck with cepes and a nice souris d'agneau. Service was pleasant, as is the garden. This is the type of honest restaurant one hopes to find but usually can't.

We tasted two sweet crepes , one with nutelka and one with caramel: both around 5⬠each: they are good, very thin, but with a little of sliced strawberries or banana and milk cream would be really great without any additional cost. Parking available along the street. Beach very close .

There are amazing fresh oyster and prawn restaurants by the port, and very good haute cuisine restaurants just outside of town. This venue was slightly lack lustre. I couldn't find any thing on the menu that excited me so ordered a cheese burger. Honestly it was great. Very juicy very tasty came with slightly limp but good skin on fries. The setting offers inside and outside dining, a cool bar. I had a good but overpriced glass of house wine. All in all OK but overpriced.Dear Bronnydoes We rare sorry that you don t find pleasure to come in La Petite Marée. The spirit of restaurant is typically French "guinguette" and we understand that you like better amazing restaurant. For menu we have so differents sea food that we do not know what do more ..For wine it s always sélection of good wine no house wine and To finish if you eat"menu burger" burger+fries for 9 ⬠the first drink is incluses.Sorry but we can t do more for food only home made with fresh product .All the prices are in beside the restaurant. Hope you find more exited taste .

Popped in for a spot of lunch here after a bimble through the forests and along the coastal road from Biscarosse. A friendly madame greeted and seated us and we duly went à la carte. Pizza (no. 1 son) was fab - delightful tasting and crispy crust; Penne Carbonara (no. 1 daughter) was also very simply but deliciously done. No.1 wife (does that sound wrong?) went for the veal frites - a huge steak of locally sourced meat which was delicious and I opted for humble - yet darn tasty - moules au crème with the ubiquitous and equally munchable chips. The menu du jour offers a better selection and value - sadly, just not for my bunch!! Would happily recommend this place - it was full and made up of all sorts; elderly couples, young families, groups of friends etc and many appeared to be local which is always a good sign.

We wanted to have fresh oysters for dinner in Arcachon, and were looking around trying to decide where to eat. The guy at the restaurant told me that they are producer of oysters (if I understood correctly with my poor French), so we decided to eat here. Coming from Japan (that also produce oysters to be eaten fresh), we wanted to eat good ones. He did not disappoint us!! Very fresh and very good oysters! We also had boiled shrimps, a salami & cheese platter and some white wine from Bordeaux. The price was very reasonable. They do not speak English, but try their best to explain & show what it is. For example, when I asked what the difference between no. 2 oysters and no. 3 oysters on the menu (i could figure that it is the size), the waiter brought actual oysters in different sizes to show us.

I was there with my boyfriend and parents last week for dinner while we were in Arcachon. The restaurant is very nice with a little terrasse in the center of Arcachon. We had great meat from Spain with Aligo and gratin dauphinois. The servers, all of them... were more than friendly and knowledgeable, and last, prices were very decent!I definitely recommend this restaurant that just opened. I wish them good luck and I promise I will come back when I visit again.Merci Beaucoup!
