We came across the Pic Nic searching for somewhere else, we were a bit unsure, but we were warmly welcomed.Cannot remember the actual name of the dish, but a large steak arrived, with a fried egg, hand cut this fries, tomato, along with bread and a couple of beers and a large egg custard dessert the cost was under 13 euros, our waitress was both entertaining and helpful and did her best to explain our dishes. Great wholesome food at a good price, got for a walk and seek it out, its the real deal.

Great steak, tender & well seasoned, huge portions for a good price, also some regional dishes like goat sauaages. Customer service was friendly but had to repeat requests e.g. sauce or the bill several times.

This is a medium sized cafe bar set in a park serving snacks and drinks, very helpful staff, good range of snacks, just down the steps from the Conventa Da Serta hotel

Here you can feel at home, like you, have visited your grandmother who really wishes you well and wants to see you like a huge ball of meat rolling over when you are leaving. All the food tastes like home. It has reasonable prices.

Stayed here in April 2016 for three nights whilst house hunting in the area. Really well kept, clean and charming hotel, with excellent parking and good facilities including a very nice pool (which we did not use as the weather is still a little cool for us)Food in the restaurant offers lots of local dishes as well as enough international fair to cater to most tastes. Service is first class and the quality and price is very good. We drank local wines which were wonderful and vey well priced. The staff here are excellent and speak vey good english, so for those of us that are still challenged by Portuguese there are no communication problems.The only negative is that the WiFi is pretty poor in all areas apart from reception. Not a massive problem but slightly inconvenient, otherwise I would have no problem in recommending and would stay again without hesitation.

As the name suggests you can eat here night and day. The food is standard but good quality. You can also buy local cheese and sausage from a deli counter

The menu is all composed by local dishes and the flavour is excellent. The restaurant is located on a rustic village that deserves a visit. This restaurant is also part of a rural tourism so you can spend the night at this village. On sundays you should make a reservation.

We were comming from Serra da Estrela to Lisbon. Simple and honest restaurant near IC8. Excellent meal, great food and cheap. Staff is very nice.

Absolutely wonderful food, service and price. Simple food cooked with local ingredients, great taste, a place to come back for sure. We were attended with great care, very nice and polite people.I have some food intolerances and they easily adjusted the menu for me! Very good experience!
