Our restaurant is located 2 steps from the beach on a small and charming square . Besides free parking , we have 2 indoor halls and 3 terraces of which 2 covered , wifi, TV , baby chairs, changing table , ... Open from March to October, we offer a varied
visited on a midweek evening late July. Menu typical of most local resaturants eg moules/steaks/pizzas/pasta. Menu more extensive than Le Regal behind so ate here. Staff spoke limited English but no problem communicating, Tables available in/outside and plastic walls used to protect from the winds as required. Service prompt and food very satisfactory for the price. Not fine dining but recommend for couples or families. Appeared much better than most of the many other restaurants we saw within a few minutes walk. By a road and no view of sea but not a problem. 3 adults had 2 courses and drinks for 68 euros.

Shared a traditional mixed paella.Prawns, squid, chorizo sausage etc.Served lovely and hot in the pan.A lovely white sangria. The restaurant has a very varied menu, including tapas, and ala carte. There is a garden restaurant for warm weather, and an enclosed section part. The theme of the restaurant is traditional Spanish bullfighters. The lighting in the garden terrace restaurant really adds to the ambiance, which is a constant changing colours, theme.Quite an exciting place to visit, and look forward to sampling more of the extensive menu.Booking is essential. My wife and I visited on Good Friday 14 04 2017.The restaurant was full.

The restaurant is perched on a cliff with stunning views - it is easy to find and there is plenty of parking right out front. A modern building with floor to ceiling windows makes the most of the coast, and every diner has a superb view.We had the 34⬠lunch menu (there were also options at 55⬠and more), and this was excellent value for such sophisticated, pretty cuisine. Everything is refined and full of flavour, and service is in the michelin star category (as is the cooking). The wine list is substantial with a lot of interesting wines, and plenty to choose from between 30-40⬠a bottle.Special mention for dessert - such an intricate and perfectly flavoured dessert in a basic lunch menu was a fabulous surprise at the endow the meal. Strawberry 'opera' didn't sound that exciting to me, but in fact it was amazingly presented and totally delicious.

Restaurant - bar , Club de Plage ouvert 7 jours/7 jours juqqu'au 15 septembre 2019 Chemin de Mouret -Leucate Plage Pour toute reservation: biquetplage.com
Had a snack here and dinner. Foodquality is excellent, but it can get very busy. For dinner we ordered fish from the display, but felt we were charged an arm and a leg. Especially because the waiter informed us one fish wasnât enough to share between two adults (when in fact it would have been more than enough). It wasnât cooked to perfection, but the beef and tuna dish that were ordered by the kids were really good. Snacks for lunch and appetizers were really good too. All in all a good experience, but far too pricey for what it was.

Time to stop for lunch. Where do you go? Ah! here's a bar restaurant overlooking a fine port in the little French resort town of Port Leucate. Most of the French tourists have left for the winter season and the hardy ones are there, enjoying the wonderful weather. The food, the service and the prices are adequate. Well intentioned, well meaning, Get in, order, eat and leave. There are other things to do.But, in general we got what we were looking for. A good quick meal

This review is specifically for hungry people who want a large bowl of mussels with a side of hot crispy fries. There are several styles to choose from. We had the Catalan and the Mediterranee. Try them! Our friendly waiter brought out steaming bowls of muscles drenched with savory broth, roasted peppers, olives, onions, and celery. We started in and didn't stop until every last one was scoured for meat and every last drop of broth was smeared and soaked with broth and popped int our mouths. The frites or fries added just the right salty crunchiness on the side. The dish was fresh, plentiful, and addictive. Go get some!

Wonderfull place on border of the beach with sunbed and palm trees Meal prepared only with fresh and local food for lunch or dinner Quiet place with perfect view on the see perfect for families or friends good times Near the famous boat the Lydia Proximit
This place is kept a secret by its fans! It's a luxury beach base with great sun beds, a fantastic restaurant, clean loos, shade, a bar and the rest. What's more there's a huge car park out the back, a beached ocean liner, The Lydia, to impress the kids and a sandy beach that goes way out. It's really all you need once you've had enough of the crowds at Canet Plage. It looks like any other beach bar but DTC Beach is something else. Give it a whirl! Thanks for this fabulous comment jim hope To see you again

This is an upmarket beach bar serving high quality fish and other food. Unfortunately it is situated within an area of depressing concrete high rises overlooking miles of beach. You cannot drive past but there is plenty of parking behind the high rises and then you will have to find your way to the beach promenade. The landmark to look for is a large ship set into the promenade itself - bizarre! There are tables on an upper floor overlooking the sea and downstairs. I got the impression that all the upper tables had been booked by local residents so remember this if you telephone to reserve a table. The cooking is simple French at its best and in particular the Calamars Plancha are fantastic and some of the best I had tried. Meli Melo (platter of oysters and prawns served on ice) was also most impressive. Staff are friendly and helpful with the bill for lunch, including wine and coffee, coming to â¬47. Worth a detour to eat and of course you can also spend your day on the beach.

Wonderful menu - French cuisine served in the rustic setting on the beach. The dining highlight of a stay in Le Barcares is at La Pearla. Great fish and meat dishes. Cocktail bar, candle lit in a Cuban style setting. Open in high season to end Sept.
Great location and lovely food spoilt by the rude and incompetent staff. After waiting 20 mind to see a menu and a further 15 mins to order food very rude waitress then informed us we should not be sitting at the table as it had been reserved(no sign of this) we then had to go upto the bar on 5 separate occasions throughout the meal to request things that we had ordered but the staff failed to serve. I have never had to request to pay 3 times in a restaurant before! The food was the one good thing however with really tasty burger and Tuna steak was delicious however this does not out way the disgusting service! Man behind bar was pleasant and they should move him to front if house instead of the rude lady that acts as a dictator currently occupying that position. Never had a worse experience anywhere in the world. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Despite being very busy (understandably), the service was rapid, very friendly and even in English if I needed it. Food was good portions at good prices, no rip off here despite waterfront position. The seafood was fresh and the pizzas well covered and huge. Thoroughly recommend.
