went on Wednesday evening which does have 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £30 but decided on the a la carte menu. Prawns in chili and garlic to start, lamb schwarma main course and dark chocolate salted caramel tart to finish. I truly cannot remember the last time I enjoyed all 3 courses at a restaurant in one evening like this. Friendly chatty staff as well and good wine and beer selection. Well done Riverhill we will be back!

We had drinks in here on a recent visit to Helensburgh and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the place! My husband and me remembered it as "the Imperial Hotel" back in the 70's when he was still in the Royal Navy... what a transformation! A very calm, interesting and peaceful venue - especially remembering the days of the "old Imps"! The staff were very helpful and the menu looked to be very good - I'm sure we'd have stayed to sample the food had not the grandchildren had their hearts set on fish suppers! We're so happy to have brought those fond memories! Thank you for your visit. We're bringing the hotel back soon so hopefully we'll see you again, maybe this time you'll stay with us for a night :)

I hadnât come across drunken goatâs cheese before, but evidently the name refers to the process of marinating the rind. There were three of us, and we ordered tapas for two, which proved to be ample for a light lunch. There was good vegetarian choice and friendly efficient staff â and right on the sea front.

Some friends and I had dinner together here recently. Perfect meeting point for us at this cosy bar. We had a range of dishes between us such as Chicken Enchilada, Chicken Supreme (their version) and Nachos as a main. Soooo good, each dish was super tasty! Friendly service and great prices, we will be back again.

What a delightful and delicious first dinner in Scotland! We ordered mussels in tomato broth, quail, lamb, steak, and fish and chips and it was all cooked to perfection and creatively plated. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, prompt and careful. The atmosphere is relaxed, and everyone who works there interacted in a positive and welcoming manner. The neighborhood is cute, views are solid, and we went for a walk after to see what else this charming town had to offer. Highly recommend every aspect of this place. Thanks for making our first evening in Scotland a memorable one!

After hearing good reviews about Fenwick's decided to give it a try. Booked a table and when we arrived we were pointed to an area by one of the waitresses. A couple that came in behind us (no reservation) were taken to a table and told the soup of the day by an other waitress. No consistency. The food was really good and portion size was excellent, so much so we couldn't manage a dessert. Overall a good experience but lacked a little in customer service.

Really enjoyed 1st time at this restaurant. Great food, lovely staff and very comfortable decor. Wet Monday in Greenock doesn't usually inspire anybody but so glad we tried this wee gem. Im delighted to see that you enjoyed your Twist experience and we look forward to seeing you again on your next visit. Thank you From Team Twist. Stevie

Visited here with two friends today to sample their afternoon tea.Sandwich selection was average really not any unusual/inspiring fillings.Scones were all plain perhaps fruit would be a better option?I had a small macaroon which was nice, there were other small cakes too.Additionally a tall shot glass with something which looked like Chantilly cream & coulis on top,my friends said it was very sweet. We opted for a bottle of Prosecco with our teas & coffees.Finished the afternoon off with a cocktail each which for me was the best part of afternoon. It was all ok but just ok,not sure I would want it for a special occasion/ celebration.Thank you for your review. The tall glass was a homemade cheesecake souffle accompanied with a raspberry coulis. We offer a wide range of sandwich fillings for our Afternoon Tea which everyone can enjoy e.g vegan fillings, traditional fillings and gluten-free options. In the past, we had unusual fillings however we were constantly being asked for the same fillings by our customers so we now cater the sandwiches with traditional fillings which seem to be the most popular... So pleased you enjoyed your cocktail, they are all really tasty! Afternoon Tea Week is 12th-18th August 2019. If you decide to book with us again please be sure to ask for a varied sandwich selection and ask for Afternoon tea with prosecco...it'll save you money instead of buying a bottle. Thanks for your review.
