Reviews on European food in Pokhara, Western Region, Nepal. Most visitors to Pokhara stop here before starting or after finishing the "Round Annapurana" trekking route. Because of its popularity with travelers, the city itself has relatively modern hotels and restaurants, but you’ll also find ancient lakes, waterfalls and gorges, and, of course, majestic views of the Himalayan Mountains.

Our own "Small Farm" just outside Pokhara fueled our passion for fresh ingredients, so most of our food is prepared without chemicals, additives and preservatives. Please join us in supporting local farmers keeping money in our own community and unnecessa
Dropped in just like that and had a pasta Siciliana (a revelation after so many curries). Very delicious, fine service, reasonable prices and clean washrooms! Recommended (also for dinner)!

We have visited this restaurant twice so far during our visit to Pokhara. Both times we were amazed at not only the quality of the food but the quality of the service. The cocktails are also good to try, but do not leave without trying their speciality ice cream cake, machhapuchhre kiss. It is delicious.

We wanted tonhave breakfast at the roof top and the staff did not hesitate and made sure we enjoyed breakfast there also. The staff here are well-trained. They smile, they are attentice and they made sure you have everything you need. Highly recommended.

We are an Art Gallery and Cafe. Offering VEGETARIAN, GLUTEN FREE and VEGAN options. We offer an excellent choice of teas and coffee at probably one of the best prices in Pokhara. No tax and no service charge... Serving fantastically healthy food and comfo
Nice staff (not very talkative) and good food, however, took a solid 45mins to be served (a salad and porridge) eventhough we were literally the only two people in the cafe. After about 40mins a new customer came in and got her food served within minutes. Right next to the amusement park so lots of loud musicDear Sophia, The chef did tell you in person the porridge was 10 minutes away from being cooked ( he states you said that was fine??? Yet you weren't fine at all and feel you were very slighted by us) after he served the second customer with just a muesli. Sorry you got offended by another customer being served with a meal that takes 5 minutes to prep and make. It is very upsetting for my Nepali staff to make a meal of your choosing and condemn them on here for doing nothing wrong. The sweetcorn dried chips used the make the sweetcorn porridge does take time. 30 minutes.cooking time 40 minutes total with preparation. If you don't believe me check out the timings on the Internet....Total cooking time 40 minutes. ( check out sweetcorn porridge with blackberries we how ever use local fruits instead so that takes a little extra) we do have notes in the menus and on our black board that some things take time as they are freshly cooked. It's not possible to make that dish in 15 or 20 minutes. It would have been more gracious of you towards the staff if only you'd been honest when given the opportunity by the chef about the timings. Most dried sweetcorn meals takes at least an hour or two. I can also not be held accountable for the noise of another business as it is festival time and during those periods it is noisy in Pokhara. You say Basanta the chef wasn't talkative to you. He did speak to you about the things he needed to. On the other hand he does have a job to do which is being the chef ..I'll remind you, you were in the company of a male and for a good well brought up Nepali male like Basanta to chat you up, with you in the company of someone who could have been your husband or boyfriend in his eyes is just not polite as he's a married man himself and it just isn't done as he would not want to be accused of chatting you up in the company of another man.

I had my last dinner at Pokhara in French Creperie. The staff was friendly and invited me to sit at the second floor, which was more cozy. She recommended Mountain Killer (crepe) to me. It was a special crepe made of mushroom, cheese, and other ingredient. Nice food experience.
