Newly opened restaurant in the city centre of Poděbrady, located on the Poděbrady castle, in castle's moat. We offer classical Czech cuisine in modern arrangement. Our daily concern is you to be absoluletely satisfied with both meals and service.

Great food and service. Amazing atmosphere. Underground room is a great place to enjoy dinner and a bottle of wine.

V restauraci hotelu Golfi jsme usporadali setkani maturantu po 45 letech a ukazalo se, ze to byla opravdu dobra volba.Okoli je krasne, ale tak uz to v Podebradech zacatkem cervna byva.Prostredi salonku, kde jsme se setkali bylo prijemne a klidne, obsluha prijemna a pozorna.Nejvic se mi ale libil vyber vin, hlavne moravskych, protoze jednoznacne bylo videt, ze ten, kdo vyber sestavil, se ve vinech z rodinnych vinarstvi vyzna dobre.Jidlo - jednim slovem bezvadne.

My husband and I had read a good review of the Park Cafe and it was near our hotel, so we sought it out for a late lunch. The outside tables look attractive with their big umbrellas but the tables were all full of smokers and the umbrellas were keeping this mass of smoke in the area. The service was extremely slow. My husband ordered the couscous and vegetable lunch special which was quite good, but the pizza I ordered, marguerite with cheese and basil was terrible. All in all it was a very unpleasant experience.

I had to organize a meeting classmates forty years after graduation. Because I'm 40 years away from my hometown, I asked my brother, what restaurant in the city's is the best one and he assured me that certain Basta Fidli. OK - I finished a booking there, we were there and now I can write just one sentence: It was perfect. The food was excellent, the staff attentive and unobtrusive, the prices reasonable. None astonishment of everyone in our company wanted to pay separately, when I broke a wine glass, the table was cleared away before I re-ordered - and all with a smile.I'm not writting reviews and give 5 stars too often - but here I give 5 stars with joy.Since none of the more than 20 classmates I have not heard even a hint of dissatisfaction - Can you imagine better recommendation?

My second visit to this restaurant after a gap of two years. I think the ownership may have changed but the food is still fantastic. Dined with four others and all our dishes were delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. No wonder booking is essential - it is a small restaurant. For a meal like this in a UK top restaurant you would pay triple the price. All dishes are reasonably priced and a child's portion was no trouble. Attentive, pleasant service - English is spoken. Deserts all home made and wonderful. Lovas is also a Pension. I didn't stay there - if I did I'd never leave.

Stopped for lunch and initially we were served by a sullen waiter who point blank said they did not have the meny in English, fortunately the other staff were far more friendly and an English menu soon appeared and the lunch special that we ordered was really tasty and extremely well priced. The beers were cold and cheap and the outside terrace was a great place to be. Overall a good experience with great food and a fab view almost spoilt by the poor service of one individual...thats the Czech republic for you unfortunately (our experience over many trips in many years, sorry)

The restaurant is located not far from the center but in a quiet location in the middle of the forest. The interior is tastefully furnished in style. Absolutly fantastic food, meat specialties, homemade dumplings, original sweet desserts such as chocolate cream with oranges... Friendly and professional staff. Also very reasonable price.

I consider myself a foodie and this is one of the best restaurants in this price range and type of menu I have eaten in a long time! Simple, tasty, well prepared and presented, no cut corners, not overpriced. Very nice salads and sandwiches, excellent burger and fries.Professional staff, maybe missing a little bit of friendliness and human touch over professionalism.

The town is much more lively than we expected and there are quite a few choices with respect to food. We chose this one because had very good reviews. The restaurant is very central and if you travel by car you will not be able to find a parking very close by (blue zone) . However there is a paid parking in the area. The restaurant looks nice and modern. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have kids menu and I saw quite a few families with kids having lunch there. The food is good but the prices are a bit on the upper side. I would say similar to a restaurant in the center of Prague .
