At Symposio we serve only fresh food straight from our gardens, made with lots of Experience and love!
Heard a lot about it, so I expected a lot! I was impressed with the starters, especially the courgettes with eggs which were the best I ever had!The only food that I thought was a disappointment was the pork souvlaki.I would go again but only if I could order a la carte.Thank you Simelaki for your time to review us. We are very happy that our courgettes with eggs is the best you ever had. We feel disappointed that you did not like our pork souvlaki but we are proud about it and we have great comments about it but we respect your opinion. We would like to serve you again and you can always order a la carte if you like. Thank you, Symposio Team

Classic average to poor restaurant (as most of them) in Platres area. Unfortunately in specific area is difficult to find a restaurant the offer very good food.In my opinion in whatever restaurant in the area you sit you will have similar quality of food. Same is sequoia restaurant. Visited place a Sunday for lunch and as per waiter âmezeâ was not available specific day thus we order portions. Salad was fresh but souvla (overcooked) and kleftiko (too fat in the piece) were average. Worst of all were the Cypriot dish âmakaronia tou fournouâ that for sure were not cooked the same day they were served.

Most of the restaurants were closed by the time we arrived in Omodos. This one was still open and received us with friendly service. The dishes - moussaka and stuffed pepper - were large and good, though not great as they weren't as flavourful as Greek food can be. Still a good choice in Omodos.

Proud to be serving you the best of traditional Cypriot cuisine at an altitude of 910 meters, since 1983. Located in the heart of Phini Village.
After hearing many good comments about the Phini tavern, I had the fortunate experience of trying it myself last weekend. All dishes were very tasty and well prepared, variety was good, and quantity plenty. The whole atmosphere of the tavern is great, especially on cold winter nights, when the fireplace is lit and heating the place.Maze is great, but my recommendation is to also try the trout with garlic sauce! :)

It appears to be just another tourist cafe stop but we were absolutely impressed by the very attentive service by the owner Mimis and his wife which makes you want to keep visiting! Great variety of omelettes, burgers and sandwiches all served with salad and chips, well presented and delicious. The menu offers an unbelievable variety of dishes including fish that we might be tempted to try next time. Reasonably priced and definitely recommended.

We love the food here, the trout is always beautifully cooked and well worth the trip. Selection of wines very good and the buffet selection of desserts are the perfect way to end your meal.We love coming here to escape the humidity in the summer and to enjoy the beautiful landscape at any time of the year.Sundayâs are always busy so booking is essential.Sadly, the service is a bit hit and miss. The staff are exceptionally polite, but often have to be chased for drinks or to take your order. Our main course arrived whilst we were still eating our starters which was disappointing and rushed. However, the overall experience is worth a visit.

I have visited this place many times. The snacks are top notch. Superb omelettes (made any way you like), home-made hamburgers, pitta bread, potatoes, club sandwiches, and toasted sandwiches (the cheese is particularly smooth, creamy and not very salted). The moussaka is also excellent. The apple pie, served with ice cream is divine. The service is impeccable. The prices are very reasonable and the shop clean and well looked after. A must visit.

We visited this fantastic family run, local taverna today on our way down the mountains at Troodos. Couldnât have have found a better place to have lunch. What fabulous meals and huge portions of freshly cooked bbq food. Pork kebabs, beef stew, lamb chops and delicious herby home-made chips! Fab selection of dips to go with a freshly made Greek-style salad. Only downside is itâs too far away from our holiday apartment to regularly visit. Definitely worth a visit, we will definitely return!
