The restaurant is next to the Ketterer Brewery. Inside has is a warm historical atmosphere. When you walk in it feels like a very high end, expensive restaurant, however, the prices are super reasonable for the quality and amount of food you are served. The prices are Middle Class, however, the food is Up Scale. The appetizers are excellent, we know because we got a sample of them all! The food portions are huge especially after having a few beers and all the appetizers. We wanted to try everything and we did including desert, EXCELLENT TOO! We rolled out of there with full stomachs. Most of all we love their beer!! Ketterer beer is the best we have tasted since we got to Germany. We also went to the Octoberfest in Munich and Ketterer beer is by far the BEST!!

I went here as a guest with some business partners. Overall, I was satisified with my meal, but found the server to be a little distant.I'm not accustomed to German cuisine, but comments on each of my dishes as follows:1) Tomatencremesuppe - It translates into English as you would expect. I thought this was pretty good. Nothing too extraordinary about it, but it had a good texture, consistency and flavour. I would order it again.2) Daily Venison (I don't recall the German name) - This was OK. I thought the venison was overcooked, so it was like eating liver. I've had better preparations.3) Das Mousse - This dessert was well presented, and overall, very good. The server was competent, but hardly smiled. I wasn't sure if she was naturally unfriendly, or was having a rough day and didn't really want to interact with her guests. She wasn't horrible, but she didn't add anything to the dining experience.Overall, I was pretty happy with my meal and wouldn't mind coming back next time I'm in town.

I can't say enough about this cafe...food is great--typical Belgian menu, wonderful beer and cocktails, coffee, smoothies, breakfast, lunch, everything! The owner is a lovely person and greets each guest personally. Staff is amazing and friendly. Perfect place to spend the afternoon. Pforzheim is lucky!

We have been to the Seehaus twice recently for dinner with our young adult children and have enjoyed very good food served graciously in a relaxing open air atmosphere. A little off the beaten path of Pforzheim about 15 minutes outside the centre along a beautiful winding road through the forest just past the Wildpark. It seems to cater to all types of families and events. I was especially pleased to have my meal adjusted to respond to my lactose intolerance which I hadn't specifically mentioned and yet the waiter understood from the questions I was asking and took the initiative to make a recommendation. The desserts were just as good as the mains and the wine list was also quite acceptable with an emphasis on local labels.

Whilst visiting Pforzheim I had the pleasure of having dinner at La Villa Restaurant. The restaurant itself was very quiet, but that was more due to the fact that Germans tend to eat early in the evening whereas us Irish like to leave it until much later. The building itself is lovely and very nicely decorated. The waiting staff were very welcoming and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. She apologised for her lack of English and we did so over our lack of German. The menu was in both German and Italian and having been to Italy many times, we were able to decipher the different dishes available. The chef very kindly sent us complimentary bruschetta while a gorgeous basket of bread was also delivered to the table. For our starters we chose the selection of starters which is served on one big plate, they were all delicious and gave us an indication of what our main meal was to be like. For my main meal I had the Pork and Parma Ham, it was incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection.I have to say, this is probably one of my favourite authentic Italian restaurants. I enjoyed every bite of my dinner and I cannot wait to visit Pforzheim again just for another trip to La Villa.

In the valley of the river Würm, one of the 3 rivers of Pforzheim, this restaurant is very popular for its nice local food of just a beer in the garden after a hike along the valley or on the slopes of the Black Forest

We wanted to have a romantic dinner. We ordered a starter plate and a second course (a steak of course). We have not finished the starter and waitress took away without asking! At this point I interrupted her. She explained us, tat the steak was ready, and because of that she took our first plate. It is not a fast food restaurant. I expect some courtesy. And I want to finish my dish, and I'd expect a main course coming after the first, and not in between. The best point was, that I asked for the manager, and I was told that he was busy in the kitchen, so he did not come.

We were a group of about 14 people and as we waited for all to arrive, they served home made quiche and Flamm Kuchen as appetizers. The food when ordered was also exceptional and very filling. Worth a visit

We have been here before and we always love the food, fresh, authentic and very tasty. I believe it is a family owned restaurant, they provide friendly service, serving great quality food reflected in their prices. Their salads are so fresh, all the foods we have had have always been exceptional, schnitzel, fried potatoes, spätzle and vegetables. They have a good wine lis and are excellent at recommending wines. We as love their traditional decor, it is warm and cozy. We would definitely go back!Hello, thank you very much. That's very kind of you. All the best! Goodbye, See you soon.Monika und Manfred Hoppe
