The restaurant opened 2 years ago and is only open during the summer and only for outdoor seating. It has a beautiful ambience and the cooking is high quality traditional Greek. The service was excellent and everything was top class yet hardly more expensive than a regular tavern. They had a reasonably large selection of wine. We enjoyed both the house white and a bottled red from the region. This was the most expensive item on our bill, about 35 Euros. I had a veal dish with aromatic spices (love, cinnamon, etc.) and my partner had slow cooked lamb. They cost 12-13 Euros. Home-made moussaka was 9.50 Euros, and other well-known traditional dishes were also under 10. They served beautiful bread, olives and olive oil and an excellent green salad with delicious dressing. Highly recommended for a nice evening out away from the tourists but right in the centre of town, near the Museum entrance.

Was there when visiting the museum. Cafe offers meals and various coffees. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. I was the only tourist in the place (dead of winter), but it was interesting to observe the locals. The waiter brought me an ash tray with my breakfast and most of the patrons were smoking. It did not bother me, but might be a problem for others. I enjoyed the visit.

After a visit to the archaeological site of Olympia, we go with our minibus 3 minutes outside the village for food.The restaurant had a luxurious look but wanted some small renovation especially in the pool area.But when we tasted the food the words were out of the question ..As a Greek from USA, I had years to taste authentic Mediterranean food!!Really very good! Thank you for the experience you gave me!
