Despite the playful appearance, simple, nice pub, with great food, music and hospitality. We started in 2005 with the idea to remind local people to good old days when life was slower and more time was devoted to enjoyment and relaxation. The aim was also
I knew it was a bad sign when the waiters and kitchen staff were sitting around upstairs during evening service. Nevertheless, we were hungry and eventually managed to rouse one of the waiters into taking our order, whilst his prodigy seemingly did little other than rinse glasses. The food, passable salad apart, was incredibly oily - meat, potatoes and vegetables were dripping in the liquid fat. My friend was ill as a consequence and I felt a touch dodgy. Avoid like the plague.

Great place to eat rich food, combo of Indian and Vojvodinian (north Serbia) spices and meals :) Warm recommendation! <3

My place in Novi sad is just around the corner but it took 2 months to come here, because the everyday directions were towards the city. I was an early dinner, veal broth, muchkalica (kind of goulasch with a lot of vegetables) and wine were all excellent and portions substantial. So definitely I will come back some other time.

Fine dining
Place is located at the edge of city center. Staff is bit disorganized with certain charm. Meals are nice mostly focusing on Italian and international cuisine. recommended place

We come to Novi Sad for EXIT or Tamburica Fest almost every summer, and this is by far the best ethno-resto around. Gorgeous rustic decor, scenic views of both Petrovaradin Fortress on one side and the Danube on the other, with the sun setting across the river. Reasonably priced, excellent food and service. Zvonko Bogdan's musicians sometimes play old town favourites on weekends at your tableside. This place is charming and provides an unforgettable Serbian dining experience, with specialties from both the Serbian and Hungarian culinary traditions of Vojvodina. There are other fantastic restos in town and around, but this one is on our must-do checklist whenever we are in Novi Sad.

They produce their own beer, at great prices 1EUR pint!!! Excellent taste, especially loved the RED beer as they call it, they have nice lager and dark beer too...very friendly staff.
After all the bad experiences iwith service and in general with restaurants in Belgrad we were really hoping to find a nice place to have a lunch. We searched online and found this place with good reviews. Quiet place away from crowd, a pleasant rustic atmosphere. Service was so fast ( at least after what we have experienced in Belgrade), food was delicious, staff members were friendly which is not very common in Serbia :) I recommend this place !

The place is packed all the time, ir nearly. However. Three leisurely moving waiters were cruising around our table for over ten minutes arranging empty tables, collecting menues and doing some other menial errands. When we finally got the attention of a certain Bojan, the waiter and mentioned that 10 minutes waiting could hardly be an acceptable time-lapse for a client-server interaction engagement, his reposnse was stunning. Instead of any form of excuse we got the explantion that he was genuinely busy, arranging tableware and cleaning empty tables, and that it was up to us (customers) to hail him. To our our surprising remark that it cannot be regarded as the best practice of client servuce attitude, he replied that it is the standard practice for Petrus cafe. Full stop. Just as a remark. We are not foreigners here, we live in this town for nearly sux years. Weâve been in Petrus several times. Each time the âserviceâ mark was not at its highest, but this time as the French say âCâétait le combleâ. Otherwise, with such level of service they will die, sooner or later. Dear Nelson, many thanks for taking the time to review our bar-resturant.I am sad to read that although you been several times, this time your experience were not upto your expectations for which I would like to offer mysincerest apologies. We constantlystrive to ensure the food and drinks offered and alsoservice is kept to a slightly higher standard then other bars in Novi Sad,which is proven by other reviews on this and other websites and high attendance.I will be personally addressing these issueswith the waiters and Bar team. We do hope your experience will not deter you fromcoming back to Petrus wherewe hope to offer you a much heightened experience.I would highly recommend to try our new cakes when you arereturning to visit us so that we can ensure you havethe best experience.

After eating at the Fish and Zeleni, we had to try Project 72. We were not disappointed.... as we stay away from red meat, eating out in Serbia can be challenging. Not at this place. We had two fish entrees ...tuna steak and the perch pike and both were very good. The eggplant appetizer and the lemon tart were superb as well. What a great choice in Novi Sad.Dear @Elkabelka, thank you for the comment :)We're so glad you enjoyed our food. Hope to hosting you again. Welcome!Kind regards,Project72 Wine&Deli
