We are family run small cafe specializing in mouth watering french classics with an casual contemprary style. The traditional brunch items would include braised short rib with poached egg and red wine sauce or a tolouse special cassoulet with swiss cheese
It was a girlfriend who introduced me to this place. Tucked away off Mountain Highway was where we found Tour de Feast. A small and cosy place filled with many hungry patrons.Luckily we got a table on a weekend at around 1 pm. All items on the menu looked yummy which made it a difficult choice. We ordered the smoked salmon breakfast (came with fried eggs, English muffin and smoked salmon) and the Croque Madame sandwich (a toasted Brioche with melted Gruyere cheese with Black Forest ham and heirloom tomatoes sandwiches in the middle along with potatoes and a small salad). Both were equally tasty, fresh and flavourful. The desserts looked heavenly but we were too full. They also offer dinner and catering if you want more of this yummy food. Parking is a challenge and almost non existent. Service was friendly and the atmosphere has a good upbeat vibe. Canât wait to try their dinner. They advised that the dinner menu changes every few days which is a reason to come back over and over again.

It's not summer without a fabulous dinner on the garden patio at Orto. Beautiful and serene, accompanied by delicious food and a lovely experience. We can't go here without having the appie of Bad Dog Bread with carmelized onion butter/olive oil/olive tapenade. Followed by any pasta on the menu, because they're all lovely. Great experience, again. Love it here.Thank you very much for your great review. We are happy you enjoyed your dinner with us!

This was our first time to North Vancouver and so many restaurants to choose from. We narrowed it down to German and this delightful choice exceeded our expectations. The owner greeted us and then sang along with the fantastic trio playing wonderful nostalgic tunes . I wanted to hear beer barrel polka though it seems thatâs mainly Ocktober fest. Letâs just say I was ready to polka as I felt I was back in Germany. It was busy and many there were return guests. Iâd definitely be a regular if we lived closer. The food and wine were delicious...so much that we had no room for dessert so that means weâll be back to this gem of a place.

In-house made pasta, with everything from the wheat to the die to the drying process signifying quality. Our bowls of pasta were totally full of flavours and absolutely yummy. Looking forward to our next exploration of the menu.Drinks are a little limited, with only a pilsner and IPA (plus apple cider) on tap. Request to mgt: please take the wine list off the wall and put it in the diner's hands, with a description of each wine and where it's from; we specifically didn't order wine because it was a pain to see and to try to figure out details.
