We arrived in nizza monferrato from villa nova d'asti and came across this restaurant via the enoteca shop in the centre. Really good shop By the way!!!We turned up at 7.30 and were far from disappointed. The food was lovely ,service was excellent and the wine list fantastic and was not expensive . we had brema 2009 which was superb and would no doubt have cost in excess of £70 back in the ukYou have to visit this unassuming but great restaurant with a really friendly knowledgeable and enthusiastic sommelier

Had dinner at two occasions at the end of September and both meals were close to perfect. Nice and interesting wines and excellent traditional food. The Vitello Tonato was sensational. The service was as good as you have the right to expect from a one star restaurant but on top of that it was very friendly and we had fun, which is always a plus. Compared to what we payed it must be considered one of the best price performance ratios ever.Anything negative? On our first visit the restaurant was more than full (they put in extra tables) and the AC couldnât keep the temperature down. Luckily we sat next to a window that we could open. We will definitely be back!

Went here for an early Christmas dinner with the family. We were the only ones there, But that was unusual. Last year we were there also & the place was fully booked. We had the Barbera produced by the man of the house, & it was Perfecto.I had the vitello tonnato, carne croudo & the panna cotta. Loved it all. My sister in law had the chestnut soup, it is there speciality & it too was delicious. Go there when ever in Canelli; the place is cosy & the service is the Best.

We arrived for lunch and it was the chef that also served us. He spoke English which was a plus! The food was served pronto and it was delicious! For antipasti I can highly recommend the cold turkey breast, thinly sliced with a FANTASTIC âsalsaâ. The stuffed red peppers with tuna sauce were also great! For primi, the ravioli stuffed with eggplant and topped with a tomato sauce was HEAVENLY. I donât think Iâve had food that was so perfectly balanced before in Italy. This place surprised me. Go visit! Bonus info: if you travel with small kids, this place is great, as there is some lawn next to where you eat.

Old castle - very nicely located on top of a hill with great view. Try the terrace bar before heading for dinner. Service is very attentive - food selection very good (like everywhere probably). Food is prepared with a lot of attention to details. The architecture of the restaurant is stunning, a great mix of an old castle with very stylish class and very modern design. We liked it very much and can defintiely recommend. Prices are moderate given where you are and what you get.

Country relais
Having discovered and booked this online, we didnât know what to expect but Toni was very welcoming from the start, and despite some communication difficulties, we got by, and managed to enjoy a wonderful array of home-made dishes and delicious wine. A shame we had to sit indoors, but the dining area is smart and benefits from modern decorations. For settling the bill, we learned that cash is preferred - fortunately and we were able to scrape enough together to oblige! Toni is a lovely bloke and makes you feel at ease.

This restaurant tucked away in a little village near Alba is a real find. The location is stunning. The staff could not be more helpful and charming. The food is amazing. Really good . Also a great wine list with a complete range of wines to choose from. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back

Restaurant Pizzeria near to the centre of Nizza Monferrato, in a green hill with big spaces all around and big car parking too. You could have pizza or something from the kitchen, and drink wines from special wine maker or artigianally beers from Nizza Mo
Nice selection of pizza's. The offer a suggestion but you can combine your own. Integral pizza and spelt are options! Everything made fresh so it takes some time before you are served. But very popular with italians. Little tricky to find. Google Maps and tripadvisor are slightly off (see photo for exact location). Dont be turned down because you have to cross an industrial zone. The restaurant is behind this and offered great views to the hills and vineyards. Advise is to make reservation or arrive early. This is a good and popular place. Because they have not a huge amount of tables inside and outside it is not crowded or noisy. In august we took a huge 8p table inside to stay save from the muskitos. Parking is easy ... It has a huge parking lot.Service is friendly and quite quick. Prices are affordableSee photos of the menu fir more info.
