Very good restaurant, with quiet beer garden, located a bit outside the centre of Mussbach but close to the major intersection in the north of the village. I had an excellent rumpsteak and very good wine to go with it. My wife had a nice salad. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly and attentive and I can highly recommend this place.

We would rate this 4.5 if possible. Extensive menu which includes several regional specialties (Pfalz) was fun to browse through and would please any taste. Very tasty food served in a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. Moderately priced. I On entering we found most tables occupied on a Saturday evening around 8:15 PM, but we had a nice table. The quiet crowd was a good sign, proved by the great food and good service. Would strongly recommend!

We are used to eating in fine dining establishments but Moro is probably the best restaurant I have eaten in ever! The service was fantastic-excellent English spoken with lots of humour thrown in. We were a party of 8 and were seated at a square table-at last a restaurant that realises that groups want to be able to talk to everyone. The food was amazing- unusual combinations of flavours that just worked together. The lamb dish was perfect as was the salmon teriyaki starter. As for dessert, I can't remember what it was called but it came in a glass kiln jar and we ate it as slowly as possible as we didn't want to finish it. You must visit before it gets too difficult to get a table as this restaurant is going to be huge. Thanks for your feedback! We're looking forward to welcome you back soon

The food was delicious and the atmosphere great in this very old inn. The schnitzel was super and the Leber Klosse soup yummy. Located on a very old side street in town. Definitely try it out

Location, location, location as the saying goes. This is at the bottom of Hintergasse with a couple of mature trees outside and a fountain. No traffic noise or fumes or loads of people, just the sound of the fountain if you sit outside. Now the food. We have been there twice, the food is really nice and the service is good although the service in Zwockelsbruck is better. Menu is not as long as others (suggests to me that they don't do boil in the bag or employ a Microwave technician) but the dishes we tried were really nice and had lovely flavours. This is more fine dining so don't expect an overfilled plate but the quantity was more than adequate. They have a very comprehensive wine list and the waiter made a good recommendation of wine to go with Swordfish. So if you want something good, a little different (not standard Pfälzich fare) without paying through the nose then definately worth a visit.

First time here and I loved it! The place itself is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and has a lively outdoor seating area. The food and wine menu was varied and prices reasonable for such a fine dining experience. The service was attentive without being annoying. I'd definitely return here.Thank you so much, it was a pleasure for us. Hope we see you again.

This place has it all. In addition to the great food, it is also a mini hotel right in the heart of the Rhineland Palatinate wine region. You can literally walk out the door and into the vineyards. Features an extensive menu of traditional Palatinate foods such as leberknoedel, saumagen, etc. Also features flammkucken and is just excellent. Wonderful wine selection. Newly built but beautifully furnished and very cozy with a wood burning ceramic stove (kachelofen).

My husband and I had a very pleasant evening at Spinne in late October. The setting is in a most attractive cellar-like room. Our server was friendly and helpful. We had some of the seasonal specialities and they were really delicious, including a fresh "stone" mushroom pasta and a roasted fish on a vegetable melange that included parsley root (a vegetable new to me). We enjoyed one of the Christmann wines from vineyards in the village. This was our best meal on a 4-day visit to Germany!

Urgestein is on a good way to earn michelin star(s) in the near future. The food is certainly up there. Although my companions found the tastes too intensive, which I did not. There is a lot of potential left in service. First, pauses between dishes of degustation menu were a bit long. There seems to be a shortage of staff in both waiters and kitchen department. And then, some dishes were served to incorrect person a couple of times. Urgestein seems to take the new direction of german cuisine, with lots of ingredients in each dish and great complexity. Similar to 3-star Victor´s gourmet in Schloss Berg, which we visited the next day. All in all, it was fine experience.
