This popular restaurant gets very busy during the winter season, in particular in the evenings when tourists return from a day on the slope (Kreischberg) and want to relax in a rustic setting with good food. The place is also heavily frequented by locals. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable with most main dishes being priced between E10-12. We had roast beef with tricolore peppers and potatoes; fried pork with French fries; salad with smoked salmon and soup with bacon dumplings. We paid roughly E100 for 7 people, including drinks. The service is friendly and fast. I highly recommend the Seppenwirt.

Visited the place for several years. The previous owner was a character - and the ownership was transferred to a nice young local person. The whole crew does the best to continue the traditions.Good atmosphere, nice meal, excellent wines and beer. And service.Iit is advisable to book a table days before.Even if my rib-eye steak was not "a long lasting memory" (with other words: I shall never order this meal any more) -but the fillet mignons were excellent. So were the pastas and the pizza meals.Thank you for your visit and your rating :-) We are sorry that the rib-eye-steak was not as what you expected. We are going to give more attention to the quality of the rib-eye... We hope to see you soonBest regardsLaura and Roland

We ate here twice during our weekend in the area. Not because it was the very best, but well because of other places not being open ;-). The service was good, the food as well, and well there was plenty of beer ;-).

We found this place on a way to Corinthia so we stopped off. We had a burger, which was ok and a salad with hat was supposed to be grilled cheese but turned out to be more of turkish pastry with cheese. Dissapointing. The garden is ok, service was fine. The prices were averages. We wouldn´t stop here again.

Went here with my family on sunday evening while most of the restaurants were closed. Typical austrian interior with different 'rooms'. The menu is fine with many austrian classic plates. Next to that some plates for kids. Unfortunately no wine card so we had to do it with some local wines which were not bad but not what I really like. Service was oke. Especially the owner did his very best and was a good housekeeper. Be aware; only cash payments and no cards!

We have arrived really late, but we wanted to have a breakfast. The owner took care of us and the kitchen made an excellent egg-breakfats, the ham-and-eggs mad of the famous Austrian hill-ham (schwarzwälder schinken) got great taste. The coffee and the hot chocolate was perfect, decorated with milk foam.

I had dinner here with my family on the first day of Christmas. It wasn't very busy while austrian people celebrate christmas on christmas eve and during lunch on the first day of christmas. Looks were typical austria with all different kind of rooms so everybody has a little bit of privacy. Dinner was nice, we had some soups and after that some fish and meat and everyting was well prepared. Nothinh special but just fine. Wines were good and the kids loved there dessert. The restaurant wasn't very expensive so if you search for a good austrian kitchen in a nice environment just go there!
