The Fork and Cork situated in saqqajja Hill Rabat Malta ( nearly by the old capital city of Malta Mdina ) Offering a la Carte menu which changes every season and daily specials of the day
Had the most wonderful meal here after watching the sunset at Mdina. We had already seen it had great reviews and it really didnât disappoint. The service from both Liz and Paula was friendly and efficient the restaurant was busy, but they always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious we chose from their specials and had the swordfish tartare and the fish and coconut soup to start, both were so flavoursome a real treat and the rest of our meal also chosen from their specials was just as good. If youâre looking for amazing food and great service look no further! Cannot recommend enough!

This is a fabulous restaurant. The service is friendly and unobtrusive. The ambiance is relaxed. The setting is interesting. And the food..... the food is absolutely divine. From the warm bread to the complimentary mini cup of soup to the mains. Everything was delicious. The menu changes frequently but when we were there I had pork belly and my husband had beef cheek. Neither of us like turnip but there was a turnip side dish that was out of this world. Portions are generous so we had no space for dessert. I highly recommend this place. If we had more time in Malta we would definitely be going back.

We were a group of four and ordered 4 dishes - rack of ribs, fish and two pasta dishes. All were expertly cooked and with very friendly service and advice from the waiter. For dessert the cook came out with a selection tray which he said were all home made. We tried the baileys mousse which was excellent. He also gave us a complementary glass cherry wine with the coffee. The prices are very reasonable, came to just over â¬100 for 4 people. The restaurant is unassuming and unpretentious, but friendly and with genuinely good food and excellent value for money. The only problem we had was car parking. This was our third visit and there will be many more for sure.

We actually went here for lunch because our 'usual' restaurant was closed, so found this on Trip Advisor instead. But we were not disappointed. The food was beautifully cooked and the portions were large. We definitely over ordered: a pizza to share as a starter, risotto and a mixed grill (mostly to share both between us) as a main. The pizza and risotto would have been enough for us both so when the mixed grill arrived were were already fairly stuffed, but it was too good to leave any. We didn't want to eat for the rest of the day and still felt full the next day! The only downside was the huge number of flies which were constantly around the tables. Some fly deterrents would have been helpful, but it seems this is the month for flies as they're everywhere. Overall definitely recommend this place. Friendly staff and good value for the large portions.

While being on holiday, we always try to find an extraordinary venue for dinner. So this year we discovered The Lord Nelson Restaurant in Mosta. We call this a hidden gem! Located a few minutes from the Mosta Dome - you can literaly see the Dome from your table in the restaurant - this restaurant houses in an old charming townvouse with a lot of history. We booked a table and at our arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome. Of course this restaurant is not on a âhot spotâ location but.... once inside one discovers a superb, elegant and very nice fine dining restaurant. Talking about fine dining we went for the tasting menu with pairing wines and the whole menu including wines exceeded our expectations by far!!!! Every dish was a through masterpiece not only for the taste but also the eyes! We let the head chef choose for the âsurpriseâ tasting menu ... 3 starters, 2 mains and a dessert... we can only say that this was a real culinary evening with fine dining at its best!! Thank you chef Vella and your team, thanks for the staff, he was attentive, professional and friendly and last but not least thanks to the patron Mr Etienne for running such an excellent restaurant! We recommend everyone who has the chance to have dinner in Mosta to go this âhidden gemâ! Regards from Belgium - Peter
