Five of us, two of whom were mother and daughter visitors from England, dined on a Thursday night at Creperie L'Armorique in St. Sauveur. What a delightful supper! The service was excellent and well-informed, our bilingual waitress bubbled with bonhomie and the surroundings were a fine example of a Quebec house and furnishings, just right to share with our visitors. All of the food, from appetizers to entrees to dessert crepes, was delicious, and the serving sizes were very generous. Special mention goes to Tartifletteth, Crepes Belle Ile, Riec and Andel, and especially the beverage Pomme Enchantee! The maple and apple flavours were great for treating our visitors to some Canadiana! We highly recommend Creperie L'Armorique!

We went for dinner last night and after reading some reviews, we chose this restaurant. Bringing your own wine is really a selling feature. The place is really quaint with white table clothes and excellent service. Our food was very good. We had the mussels with blue cheese, and the peppercorn steak as well as Escargots.... It was all very nice. I would recommend you making reservations as the place was packed, and we happened to get lucky....

We went to Chez Milot with two of our friends and ordered from the table d'hote menu from 5 to 7 on weekdays...the food was excellent.....beautifully prepared...we sat on the outdoor terrace on a warm summer night ... perfect ambience... the beef tenderloin was done to perfection and my chicken was moist and well seasoned...one of us had the tuna salad and it also was given an excellent rating....the only slight negative I can say is that they seemed somewhat understaffed but the evening was so pleasant it did not take anything away from the dining experience....we will go back again without doubt...

I took my sister here for her birthday. It was a lovely night so we sat out on the terrace. I started with the clam chowder which is so delicate and amazing. The sea bream was cooked beautifully and service was exceptional. They are knowledgeable and very friendly English menus are available. A must if you are in the laurentians.

Garcons and his teem invite you to discover their Bistro Lounge. Bistro cuisine is the precursor of refined gastronomy and it is largely inspired by our family recipes, those of our mothers and grandmothers.
Authentic French cuisine using only the best ingredients. Many recipes made from scratch. Nice surroundings, superior service and a wide menu selection. 3-course table d'hote menu that ranges in price between $27 and $36. Quite the bargain for the quality of this restaurant. Simply the best tuna tartar and the best duck breast I have ever tasted. The tartar was an explosion of flavours, the duck was so unbelievably tender that it cut like filet mignon. Excellent coffee. Good and very reasonably priced wine list. We simply couldn't have asked for anything more in a restaurant.

A very good white tablecloth restaurant in Morin Heights, run by a Swiss couple. The chef cooks on a wood oven facing the dining room. The menu offers a good variety of choices. Very fresh vegetables and fruit featured.

A quaint restaurant with superb french cuisine. We've been several times now and the meals have always been absolutely delicious. Run by husband and wife, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Vivianne is a delightful hostess, taking the time to explain what goes into the meals and how they're prepared. From the entrees to the main dish and accompanying vegetables, everything was exquisite. For refined dinning this gem of a restaurant is highly recommended.

Lola 45 , is a trendy Bistro, with a market cuisine that change every week, the wine list is crisp, fun and brings you everywhere on the planet !
We went to Lola 45 for a special occasion. We had the luxury of eating outside right in front of the village church. Lola 45 is located in a great location. We had the octopus and the duck heart as a first course. The octopus was well cooked and although we were a surprised at first when the waiter told us there were chopped grasshoppers in the meal, it actually did not taste anything different. While this should not prevent anyone from having the octopus, you have to wonder if it was really necessary to add that to the meal. We also add the duck hearts and the meal was really good.As a main course, we had the trout confit and the sweetbreads. The trout was perfectly cook, tender and with a wonderful colour. A must try for anyone looking for a fish meal. The grilled sweetbreads were also perfectly cooked and the carrot/orange puree gave a great acidity twist. One downside. While I know kale is somehow popular among a certain crowd, do we really need to put this in a meal in a restaurant where people go to enjoy a nice dinner? I would strongly recommend removing this from the meal. For dessert, we had the crumble and the chocolate cake. Again, great choices. Finally, the wine list was imaginative and we always appreciate restaurants who go the extra mile to find special wines. On the downside, 2 times during the meal, we were told the wines we wanted were out of stock. And replacing a Sauternes with a Gaillac is not the same. So while we will clearly be coming back, we still feel there is room for improvement. And please do not put a tasting menu on the menu if it is not available.
