We had problems finding another restaurant we were looking for, so we ended up here. Typical Austrian cuisine with huge portions. If you're hungry and want to eat cheap, you'll like the place.

After visiting the exhibition in the famous castle. We went for dinner in this charming and quite good restaurant . Typical local food influenced by the neighbouring Hungary

My family and I were visiting wine village Gols and Domizil hotel for the first time and the staff of the hotel was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean, calm and comfortable. We had a very nice homemade apricot jam and apple juice for breakfast, truly delicious!Hotel is located just 15 minutes drive from designer outlet Pandorf ,ideal place for the label lovers and beautiful lake Neusiedl.Hotel is like a home away from home.I definitely recommend this hotel.

We had an excellent mid week lunch here. The staff were very friendly and our waiter was great. The food was excellent - a great mix of traditional Austrian and international cuisine. Beautifully presented, good portion size and most importantly delicious. As we were driving we did not sample much wine but this is also a winery. I tried both their Chardonnay and Gelber Muskateller which were well balanced aromatic wines. We purchased some to take home. We did not stay in the hotel but the overall impression from the restaurant and reception would encourage me to consider staying the night if I were to return.

This is not a stylish place, nor will you be served sophisticated preparations or sauces. I think they do not serve any other main course but fish. But - what a fish ! Fresh from the Neusiedlersee, prepared to perfection. We had the fish platter for two with Perch (Fogosch), wild Carper ( Karpfen), pike ( Hecht) and catfish ( Wels) . We could not have chosen better. It came with a perfectly seasoned mixed salad and grilled vegetables as well as parsley potatoes. Unfortunately we had no space for dessert, but what we saw served at other tables looked mouth watering. The service was friendly and efficient, our dog got water without us asking for it. Gols is only an hour's drive from Vienna- vaut le voyage !

If you are around Parndorf or Neusiedl you could spend a nice lunch/breaktfast/dinner at this family-owned and -run restaurant in Mönchhof. Be aware that it is really small (around 15 tables) and is focussed on specific, exclusive meals plus offers a variety of local wines. Quality is high and view is nice, though limited. For earning a 5-star rating the following needs to be noticed:* Access for people with dissability is very limited (no elevator, around 30 stairs)* Clearing dishes was not on-the-spot, despite having a very small number of tables to attend to* The buffet was high-quality but still only offered a limited number of dishes.* The view (which the restaurant is claiming) can be limited depending on where you are seated. So overall, we enjoyed the food and would go there again but we were not over-impressed. Still, for a local restaurant in Burgenland the experience was above-average to be rated.
