Mid morning visit in this quiet but apparent centre of activity off season .....Stopped for a coffee & ended up having a simple lunch where amongst other things the omelettes with homemade chips were lovely.Service & value good.Families welcome.Plenty of parking in the vicinity.This is a local family cafe business that is very clean & simple but clearly attracts the locals when passing etcEnjoy

This hidden gem within the beautiful square in the bastide of Eymet is a lovely little restaurant, full of charm and very delicious food. My maigret de carnard entier was possibly the best maigret I have ever eaten, and my wife's salad de la mer was delicious and value for money.I was also impressed by the speedy service. Desserts were fine, and very reasonably priced.

The family that own and run Tortoni really work hard, as it is open 7 days a week in summer. We have eaten there many times over the last couple of months, a variety of menu choices, all have been good. The friendly welcome, chilled beer and wine and being able to watch the world goes by makes it a favourite place in Eymet. Its very popular and busy, particularly on Thursday market day, but even then, the service is good.

We have visited La Bastide for both lunches and dinners. The service is always good and the food consistently of a high standard. I donât think there is outside seating,but this is not a hardship, as the restaurant is cool and air conditioned for those hot summer days. A cool sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Eymet market days. Lovely!

we have eaten here a few times with friends at lunchtimes over the last 3 years and only very recently. We are never disappointed. This restaurant consistently serves excellent food, very delicious and the service always friendly and welcoming.Outstanding value, 12.50 euros four courses including wine. It is always good, excellent choices cooked to perfection and well presented. We would definitely recommend this place for a lunchtime meal."Perfect Local French Cuisine" Excellent Value!

Visited Walnut this week and I was most impressed by this bar and bistro in Eymet. First impressions last as they say and the professionalism and warmth of the greeting by Julian and his team was unmatched during my French holiday.The food (I had bavette steak cooked to perfection) and wine on the night was lovely and the service throughout the evening was attentive and made you feel special.If you come to Eymet make sure you pop in to Walnut for dinner. Super calm, relaxed location overlooking the pretty lake, friendly staff, great tasting, innovative food presented beautifully - very well worth driving a tiny bit out of Miramont-de-Guyenne to enjoy a delicious lunch away from the maddening crowds! If you are a walker, there is a walk of about 8 k marked trail you can do from the restaurant, either before or after lunch. Quite delightful and I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Very reasonable prices - deserves all the praise it gets. Be warned ... only open Wednesday through Sunday. You can also go to this restaurant for a drink and I am sure a coffee to enjoy sitting beside the lake.

We decided to have lunch at this local bistro. It has expanded considerably in the last few weeks by taking over the building next door. Despite that good move it was still almost full.We had the magret de canard of their menu. It was good and excellent value

Fantastic meal and great service again. Three course roast dinner, all courses lovely. Great facilities such as the pool, crazy Golf, bouncy castle and pool table. Highly recommend, children had lots of options for their main meals and we were very impressed with it all
