The Yarrow restaurant has a fresh and stylish appearance and is renowned for its contemporary cuisine using fresh local ingredients. Situation in the historic Yarrow Hotel, the restaurant is part of East Kent College and we are proud to develop some of th
The atmosphere and ambience is wonderful with good attention to detail. The decor is elegant and modern. The staff were attentive, polite, enthusiastic and welcoming throughout our meal. The food was exquisite.A light, crunchy salt cod fishcake served on piquant onions and sweet peppers, topped with an egg. The plate was dressed with a parsley drizzle. Divine. The roast sirloin of beef was deep with flavour. The roast potatoes were of the triple cooked variety, judging by the crisp crust and fluffy insides. A huge homemade Yorkshire, and mixed - perfectly cooked - fresh vegetables made up the rest of the main.Raspberry souffle for dessert was crunchy topped, tart in taste, incredibly light in texture and served with a rich vanilla ice cream which complimented it beautifully. An excellent meal and dining experience.Highly recommended.

My friend and I visited this restaurant for an afternoon tea. We are both Coeliacs so therefore gluten free was required. Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff.Four fillings of sandwichâs were presented to us, which were pleasant but we would have preferred to have chosen the fillings we wanted. The sweet items were well presented, and very tasty. Within the price of the afternoon tea was admission to the award winning gardens. The only negative comment about the visit, was that we was sitting in one of the restaurants eating our tea, music playing. The room was nearby the kitchen, staff within the kitchen were shouting very loudly and this went on for some time. Eventually they had to shut the door of the dining room to shut out the noise!

I've had cocktails on the terrace with friends, drinks and seafood and the bar and dinner in the restaurant, and I've had excellent food, drink and service each time I've been. The views are stunning, and the staff always friendly and really helpful. The food is delicious and varied and the drinks are fantastic - local wines and great cocktails.

Pizza & Italian Food in the Heart of Margates Old Town. Traditional and authentic food, served in typical italian style. Busy weekends - call to book a table.
My wife and visited Olivo's tonight for the first but will not be the last time. We shared the tricolour bruchetta as a starter, as we thought we would not be able to manage three courses, we were right, we both had the Lasagna as main course and I had the cheesecake and my wife had the pannacota. I am please to be able to say that all the food surpassed our expectation it was all served hot and tasted really nice. The service was cheerful and friendly, and what was nice was that although there are only six tables (it's advisable to book) we were not hurried or rushed so that they could use the table again, we were able to finish our meal at our own pace and leave when we were ready. As I said earlier, we are locals and this is a real find for a genuine Italian food restaurant, we will be returning. We saw other food coming from the kitchen to other customers and I will say that the sharing antipasta starter looked really nice, and the Pizza's looked good with full toppings. In short a restaurant I can fully recommend.

Authentic southern Italian food, homemade fresh pasta, Italian deli, Supper Club, pasta lessons. Eat in or takeaway.
Well we didn't expect this of Margate. Fabulous, authentic, great quality Italian food in a charming restaurant. Burata - amazingTagliatelli - wonderfulTiramasu - goodCheese - wow!Plus a really interesting wine list which we devoured a bit too much).Definitey worth a visit. The only downside that rattled us a bit was the presumptive close of 'how much service/tip would you like to leave' as apparently the waitress had to add this to the card machine rather than letting us decide. We felt rather bullied into this. We'd have left at least 15% anyway but it was the way of doing it we didn't like.

At the Corner House, we believe in serving quality British food in relaxed surroundings. Our menu changes frequently, depending on the seasonal availability of ingredients and all dishes are made from scratch including the pasta, bread and ice creams. We
