Visited Kaffana on a Tuesday night and found the food to be great. Plenty of it and you won't go hungry. Special mention to the staff. Very attentive, frendly and professional. Would definitely recommend and return to try something new. Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We think our staff do a wonderful job, and we are very proud that this shows through to our guests.

Our hotel recommended this family restaurant. It had very good pizza with all sorts of toppings we got one that had four different kinds to try. It was all very tasty. We had the draft beer too to go with pizza of course. It was an interesting walk we went right by the bronze pigs in the trash cans. Only in Aussie land.

In the skillful hands of Bethany Finn, the culinary team have revived classic hotel cuisine. A sumptuous buffet breakfast, lunch (weekdays) and dinner is offered to both the general public and guests. Plus a wonderful High Tea experience is offered from 2
We attended the 2019 Gentlemen's High Tea on Father's Day in the Mayflower Restaurant. Words cannot describe the vision that was the buffet of sweets, cheeses, meats, fruits and assorted treats......the High Tea Table Service was impeccable, the staff, as always polite, helpful, maintaining a presence without being too much. The food was exquisite and the take home gifts for Dads were a nice touch. We had a lovely time and as we have eaten in both the Mayflower and Den Restaurants previously, we do not hesitate in recommending this establishment for a special outing.Dear Tina,Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm very pleased to read you had an all round wonderful experience. We have had many positive comments around this years Fathers Day Gentlemen's High tea so I thank you for taking the time to write and share yours.I do hope you are able to dine with us again soon. Totally delicious red wine in a very convivial atmosphere and great service. The honey, cheese and walnut were great , along with the potato cubes and baby squid. The only problem was the vension backstop with excellent jus - just wish it was larger for $18 as it was a weight watchers version - or had the deer been on weight watchers. Delicious but the portion was ridiculously small. I recommend the restaurant with glee but donât take the venison.

Apothecary 1878 Wine Bar & Restaurant opened December 2002 in a heritage listed building in the heart of the West End precinct. A true incarnation of a European-style wine bar. Explore the history, feel the culture and lose yourself in the elegance.
OMG, what a wonderful dinner we had at The Apothecary on Monday night! It was miserable weather outside but inside, encircled by those gorgeous antique apothecary fittings, it was an oasis of warmth, smiles, attention and wonderful food and wine. You could feel the dayâs stress just dissolving! It was hard to choose from a menu where everything looked interesting and delicious but we decided to share several dishes for our appetiser/entrees â delectable artisan ciabatta with olive oil and hazelnut dukkah, marinated olives, heavenly chicken liver pate` with grain crackers and an outstanding dish of crispy chickpeas, kalamata and thyme. We lingered over our wine and indulged our taste buds!We each ordered a main course with the intention, once again, of tasting each otherâs. My pork belly, beetroot , pear and smoked paprika was just how I like it â crispy outside and juicy inside. The flavours blended perfectly and I enjoyed the dish immensely (even though I looked like Hannibal Lecter by the end!) My daughterâs duck was declared divine by us all and my husbandâs marino morcilla (Italian blood sausage) with apple, spring onion and chilli was unusual and totally mouth-watering. The chilli arrived on the side to apply it according to your preference which was good because we all have different tolerance levels. The side dish of roasted pumpkin , Persian feta and zhug was to die for. All our servings were generous, delicious and beautifully presented. We actually were mega satisfied by that point but couldnât resist sharing an irresistible dessert of chocolate done in 8 ways â truffle, brownie, ice cream, mousse and others. Heaven on a plate!Throughout the evening the service was impeccable, knowledgeable and friendly and it is obvious that these people know their stuff.A feast for all the senses. We went home very happy and very satisfied. Thank you once again!

The award-winning Playford Restaurant offers innovative world-class cuisine. Open for breakfast and for dinner, through professional yet unobtrusive service our aim is to deliver a highly personalised guest experience in keeping with the hotel's philosoph
We were staying at a different hotel but could not resist the breakfast here, in fact we ate there three times. The food is exceptional and fresh , locally sourced. Interestingly there is a herb garden on the rooftop of The Playford . We were well looked after by the professional staff particularly Capri. Without any doubt she offered true hospitality. She is an absolute asset , seamlessly doing her job and making each guest feel important. Our breakfast consisted of fresh fruits , yoghurts, Bircher meusli and pastries , various hot food and of course barista coffee ( which was a little extra). Definitely we will be returning to this hotel which has incredible European designed decor . You can imagine you are in Parisian city or similar.

The duck was tasty, the wine marked up beyond its worth. A very noisy restaurant hard to hear across the table. The place has a nice atmosphere in general but I want to be able to talk and it was a challenge. No bread with the meal and a plate of thick chips to share was so light on I think it was for 1 person. The dessert of apple tart tartine was metallic in flavour (cold and tasted like it had sat in the pan for a long time). Overall an average experience for a meal where we drank little and 2 of us only had main course it still cost us almost $60 a head

As can be discerned from the title, I was less than overwhelmed by George, but nothing was amiss. It was a quiet Thursday. I had the anti pasti, Rather too much for one, the arancini was good and freshly cooked, the fish was also good but the rest was standard stuff. Nice olives. The duck orzo main was also substantial and was tasty, plenty of duck and a good selection of veg, the pickled small onions were a bit overpowering. I had wine by the glass. The riesling was good but the cabernet sauvignon from Coonawara was outstanding. It does have some sediment, suprising for a 2016 wine. Service was good.
