We enjoyed a great dinner here which is right on Saint Georgeâs beach. We had fresh pasta with tuna steak and an amazing ribeye which came with corn fritters and Naxian potatoes and was cooked to perfection. The restaurant also offers an extensive wine list. The service was excellent â our waiter was attentive and engaging. We received a complimentary bunch of grapes for dessert.

Highly recommend the Deoudas We went 5 times because of the quality and service we had on the 2 week holiday in Naxos. These guys have retentive memories and recognize you on the second visit. Little extras, traditional in Greek islands were 1st class. Well done Deoudas

We decided to try the restaurant for the final night of our holiday in Naxos and werenât disappointed. The tables were outside next to the swimming pool of the hotel offering a perfect view of the sunset.The menu is extensive with something for everyone: pastas, meat, fish and even vegetarian and vegan options. There are also a range of specials every day. We chose from across the menu and everyone in the group was delighted with what they had chosen. The service was friendly and efficient. Given the location, the quality of the food and the service the prices are reasonable.If you want the perfect experience time you reservation for 30 minutes before sunset and try to get a table by the pool to watch the sun set over Paxos.If youâre in the Agio Anna area the Stelida restaurant is definitely worth a visit for a special dining experience.

Dropped in to this family run cafe for a Latte and a pastry. We have tried several cafes along the beach strip and this one has to take top marks for the best coffee. There is a great selection of home made pastries and cookies, baked fresh every day. The owners take a lot of pride in presenting the best cup of coffee in town. This is an efficiently run, perfectly maintained business.

Judging from the reviews we expected this place to be great. Especially so since it is owned by Italians. This is why we were surprised to see that they have frozen pizza dough. We tried it and it was really not that good. Far from it! The one thing that we can recommend is Tiramisu. So go for sweets and coffee, eat lunch somewhere else. It doesnât matter where your hotel is we highly recommend you make your way to Agios Prokopios and the Giannoulis family tavern and enjoy a choice of traditional home cooking. Excellent service from the moment you arrive. All the meals are very generous in size. The soutzoukakia (meatballs) are amazing. As are the Rosto pork roast, fricasse lamb, moussaka, chicken and pork souvlaki and the lamb chops. The hand cut chips are superb. And donât forget to try a traditional sweet desert such as galaktoboureko , melachrino, kataifii or baklava. A visit to Naxos is not complete without visiting the Giannoulis family tavern. Dinner at Jan's Salmon & Deli was an excellent experience.Located on the beach of Plaka, in a very nice terrace, it serves authentic scandinavian delicacies. Many variations of salmon (gravlax, cold-smoked, hot-smoked), herring, swedish meatballs, shrimp are cooked to perfection and with passion. Local naxian products (yogurt, cappers, potatoes) are also present and blended with the scandinavian taste. The service is very hospitable and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.Jan's is a small and cute place with a big heart. Congratulations!

Absolutely enjoyed our lunch at this taverna. Beautiful outdoor courtyard and very friendly waitstaff to suggest house specials. We had a very generous plate of local cheeses, several made by the family which were superb. Our favourite Alpha beer served ice cold and a sensational fresh fish grilled with local vegetables. Would go back and after a month on Naxos this was one of our top rated eating experiences. Worth a day trip from Naxos Chora.
