This Italian restaurant is very good for both business as with friends. It comes with wide choices of starters, pasta, pizza but also typical French dishes. The food is very good, the price is acceptable, the waiter is very friendly (speaks English) and the boss is very present and friendly as well. The special coffee which comes with 3 desserts is strongly advised to end your diner. I will definitely return to this restaurant when I'm around!

D'un naturel plutôt éloigné de ce type de restauration je m'y suis rendu par curiosité. L'accueil est excellent, la patronne très sympa prends le temps de vous accueillir, et de vous expliquer les produits qui peuvent sembler atypique si vous n'êtes pas habitué.La carte est restreinte car uniquement composée de produits frais et faits maison. En ce qui me concerne, mention spéciale pour le sandwich pain polaire saumon, salicorne, fromage frais et pour le cookie en dessert moelleux et croquant. La salade est copieuse et très goutue.La quiche au saumon est très bonne également.J'y retournerais bien volontiers pour gouter les cocktails et la planche de charcuterie

Friendly place with good food and good service. Good attitude too; when the waiter forgot to bring a second glass of wine to my partner, and had to be reminded, he apologised and brought it quickly and deducted it from the bill. He was particularly busy at the time and you couldn't fault him for a minor slip-up like that, but the way he dealt with it was exemplary.The food was great too! Once again, a restaurant we visit often when staying in town, food was exceptional. Service this time round was a tad too slow. We had to flag the waiter down to take our order and also ask for bread when having snails for starters. Will return.

We had a family lunch on a Sunday.The overall cuisine is very traditional with good taste. No cuisine nouvelle though.The fact that it was a Sunday probably did not help but service was really slow and the waiters, probably because of stress were very clumsy.It is a decent experience but it is not living up to Its reputation ...

Four of us ate dinner here on a Sunday evening. The server spoke excellent English and was very friendly. Our group had several different pasta dishes and a calzone. All of them were excellent and the portions were very generous. We sat at an outdoor table on a very pleasant evening. The service was excellent. We enjoyed our evening very much. Iâd highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful service, delicious food and excellent wine.This is the sort of place that France built its culinary reputation on. A small family team offering top quality food, ambitiously presented, with professional service. This is a restaurant that makes you feel special because they put so much love and care into what they do. This is what dining out should be.

We stopped here halfway on our cycle ride. This was a charming restaurant, with an extremely friendly service. The food was excellent and great value. I can recommend the jambon, egg and Roquefort salad, which my wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed. I had the moulds mariniere with frites, again excellent. I recommend this place for sure :)

First stayed here ten years ago when the rooms were very simple but compensated for by magnificent setting and excellent restaurant. Rooms now renovated and first class also. A magnificent spot to explore the Loire valley from, as an overnight stop to the Pyrenees or for a gourmet weekend.

The entrees were good, carpaccio de boeuf particularly. Cheval steak wasnt good at all unofortunately. They could do better.
