We wanted to find a place by the beach with tapas. This place is amazing. Loads of vegetarian choices including the most amazing mushroom croquetas. The other traditional dishes like pan con tomatoe were way above the normal quality for Barcelona/this area. Lots of salad choices and again good quality. Nice wine. Really nice service and quick. Wasn't the cheapest but for the quality, it's fair. Will definitely come back.

Our friends advised us this restaurant, knowing our affection fo Italian and Neapolitan cuisine, pointing out that very experienced Chef from Napoli cooks and creates dishes there! And we were not disappointed. My friend loved pasta carbonara and I ordered entrecot con provolone origanato that was delicious!Service was also excellent.Recommended for all Italian food lovers!

Restaurante de cocina mediterránea, platos clásicos completamente renovados y modernizados. Ven a probar nuestra cocina de autor con base tradicional mediterránea.
The ambience is good, with modern deco (it can look cheap, though) and spacious; it does not feel like you are into someone else's conversation/diner.For the sort of restaurant it pretends to be, the service could be sharper:- One of them spilt some drops of wine on the table- Another one did not know if certain dishes contained nuts (one of us is allergic to them)- That same last one sounded quite unprofessional when not remembering what one of the dishes she'd just brought wasAll dishes presentation is excellent, and they put some effort into them; the sashimi, however, comes in a cylindrical shaped glass that makes it hard to take, it easy slides off and the sauce drips on the table. Other comments about food combinations would come to be too personal (i.e.: chocolate omelette dessert with passion fruit seeds... we didn't think it combined that well)For all dishes (appetisers, mains and desserts) we just found them not to be very unconventional, and besides the presentation, they do not deserve the price tag they have; similar quality can be found in other centrally located restaurants at a less ambitious trade. We also found the wait in-between courses to be slow and ineffective (20 mins for each...!)To sum it up, we will not comeback; we know the area quite well and many other places offer better service with a similar ambiance, and better quality dishes at a more reasonable price. We are so sorry about your experience in our place. Thanks for you opinion, it helps us to improve. We hope you change your mind and give us another chance.

Staying in Mataro for access to Circuit de Catalunya. Found this place on TA. An unbelievable treat and very affordable. Every course was very special. Wished I had photographed it all. Try the Sangiovese appetizer special! Enjoy!

This is an excellent restaurant. The whole experience was top quality. The quality of food and drink was exceptional and this, coupled with a warm welcome and good service, led to us horoughlh enjoying our evening at El Farrell. The food was so tasty and fresh - as good as we've tasted in a very long time. The meat and fish is cooked to perfection by the chef in a wood oven. The taste will amaze you. We had lamb, pork, chicken and salmon as main courses and each dish was amazing. Well done to all concerned. Added to the high quality food was a vast array of exceptional draft and bottled beers! Can it get any better?!Thanks for sharing your experience at El Farcell . All the team is grateful for your words. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our cuisine based in fresh products and our beer selection. We hope to see you again at El Farcell very soon.

On a Sunday night in Mataró we werenât expecting to find a good meal but saw the reviews of this pizzeria on TA so made a reservation. This restaurant could be easily overlooked and some would be put off by its lack of glamour but donât be. It is a small, family run restaurant with caring and attentive service and quite honestly the best pizza I have ever had! No exaggeration! Really! If you live near Mataró then you are very lucky to have this lovely restaurant to eat at! Many many thanks!

We sat for 20 minutes after feeling like we begged for a table on the kerb. Had to move my own chair to a suitable table. They think themselves better than they are. Nobody came to serve us for drinks so we left.

Certainement le meilleur italien que nous ayons jamais fait !The two chiefs were really warm, smiling and friendly and shared their love and pride of the Italian cuisine with pleasure. We enjoyed the fresh products and the good taste of the meals and finished in a blaze of glory with handmade panacotta and tiramisu.

I was very plesantly suprised by the excellent food and service this restaurant offers, and can highly recommend it! I came with friends at lunchtime, and we all had the "Menu del DÃa" (daily menu) at 15,00 ⬠including a drink. Each dish was well presented, tasted delicious, and was cooked to perfection. In fact he whole meal was far above what you would expect for a "menu". Don´t hesitate to come here!
