Le Belem is a terrific little restaurant and bar located on the water front of the beautiful Le Port in fabulous Marseillan. Great tapas and other food on offer, including excellent entrecôte steaks. Fantastic cocktails, wine, coffees and other drinks too. Always a great ambience with excellent service from the wonderful Carlos and his team. Thoroughly recommend !

Sur les quais authentiques du petit port de Marseillan, une degustation des tresors locaux, un moment privilegie.
Lovely seafood specialist but good all round eatery, great setting, location, outlook, staff, service and prices. The seafood options offer the best value in my humble opinion. Bruce a server likes to improve his English and my French, he is fun and good all round human being. Wish we had dined here more often!

We have been coming here once a year for many years. The food is always delicious and ample. This year was no exception. Start with the house cocktail and sit back and enjoy. Photos are of the seafood stew appetizer, oysters, the lamb shank and dessert.Bonjour , un grand merci pour votre avis Nous sommes très satisfaits de vous avoir régalé .A très bientôt Chez Philippe

The restaurant Le Château du Port is a Fusion restaurant . Let's say Bistronomie . Come and Taste or oysters gratinée , foie gras , lobster , lemon pie and so much more to discover ... Hope to see you soon Greetings from Chef Patrick , Jasmine and team
We arrived at this restaurant, as we approached the waitress who clearly saw us turned on her heel and walked away. This was to prove to be an omen of what was to come. We ordered the menu which is a little expensive at â¬29 but clearly this reflects the excellent location of this restaurant right on the quayside. We ordered a bottle of rose which arrived and was not cold enough. The waitress ( the one who had earlier ignored us) said it was cold enough and she couldn't fit ice cubes in the metal thermal sleeve it had arrived in. We insisted and she arrived with ice cubes which was clearly unacceptable. Eventually she returned with an ice bucket full of water with about 6 ice cubes floating in it. Pointless. The manager or possible owner then intervened and assured us that their wine coolers were set at the correct temperature which again solved nothing. We gave up but noted a number of other tables had ice buckets. The starters were ok, our main course was tepid and the dessert uninspiring. Frankly, the whole meal was tainted by the attitude of the staff and their inability to apologise and serve us cold rose. We won't return, there is plenty of better competition.Thank You for you're review, sometimes people think .... and i now my staff ar always friendly ...you're wine was cold , 4 dégrées like I told you ....we have bringing you a lot of ice cubes during you're visite , and if I ask you at the end was everything okey , you just talk about the wine again , you said the food was good just the wine ....so I now and I ask every costumer the same question...it's easy to talk behind a screen ....thank you

Stumbled on this restaurant by chance on a hot day and had a very pleasant lunch here. It's a fusion of French and Asian cuisine...executed very well indeed. Very attractive and cool surroundings in a courtyard. Great food, service and very reasonable prices

Bar à vins, Bières et Tapas, Côté Resto Grill Plancha et Côté Boutique Bijoux, ( Prêt à Porter, Accessoires de Mode, Objets Cadeaux Souvenirs)
Dropped in here for lunch and were taken by the flunky furniture. Some of seats are made of old bike wheels. The food and drinks were good value for money.

We had read a number of reviews of this restaurant and it is listed as one of the top ten restaurants in Marseillan. Regretably, we cannot agree - I am disabled and use an electric scooter which was not a problem although the restroom was a little cramped. The restaurant advertises a garden at the rear, a plastic doomed roof with a few climbers, plastic flowers and 'nick nacks' everywhere....... (shivers !) does not count as a garden to me.The food was over-garnished, warm items on top of salads, in general very unappealling although my pork ribs were very tender and tasty. The owner and her daughter were attentive, we didn't have to ask for anything, polite and helpful. Not in our top ten I am affraid.Désolé de ne pas nous retrouver dans vôtre top !?La bâche qui recouvre le jardin est toujours là en temps de pluie et de froid ,ce qui est le cas pour ce mois de juin 2019 et s'ouvre quand le soleil arrive !Vous aviez l'air très satisfait i chaque fois que je suis venue vous le demander !Quel dommage pour ce manque de franchise !!

Zero fault, so much so we rebooked for our last night here. Kids (6&7years) had the same main meal as us (fillet beef) and everyone enjoyed. The cheese board, like Iâve never see, I love strong cheese and not disappointed. Lovely comfortable table. Thank you.

Chose this place as looked most popular and they did Chorizo mussels, which my husband loves. Nice atmosphere, very friendly service. Good value. Husband a bit disappointed in his mussels due to the lack if Chorizo taste, although he admits he was spoilt by the best ones he ever had, which were in La Rochelle. I had to have vegetable salad, as there was nothing else for me in the menu ( To be fair, I am an awkward vegetarian who does eat some fish, but not mussels or fish tartar and not sardines either). These were the only alternatives. However, the salad was very good and the pomme frites were absolutely lovely; they were home made, well cooked and tasty. Overall, really enjoyed the meal. Wine was good and also cheap.
