Just passing through the town, great little bar, great drink selection, cheap prices, table service, clean and tidy and great atmosphere. The Europeans get it right where the uk hasn't got a clue!

This rural restaurant in Belgian Luxembourg always has a 'Touring' menu, which changes each month. The all-in price is based on a formula developed by the Belgian touring club and is almost a gift, when applied by a restaurant of this class: four courses with a delicious house aperitif, glasses of wine generously refilled, water (in Belgium nearly always a money earner) and coffee plus 'mignardises'. The goose liver poêlé with caramelized apple was beyond reproach, the scampi with bacon and mushrooms in oilve oil delicious, and the pheasant with andives a good main course. The desert was the traditional Belgian 'misérable' as adapted by the famous French pastry chef Lenôtre. Special mention must be made of the friendly and highly professional service.

Lounge Bar - Restaurant
My wife and I had dinner here based upon the reviews in Trip Advisor as well as the restaurant's Bib Gourmand status. We chose the three-course menu and a red wine from the Loire. My wife's first course was the veal carpaccio. The veal was of good quality but cut too thick for a carpaccio presentation. Wrapped around fresh fennel - a nice combination - it was difficult to cut and chew. My vegetable ravioli was presented with one large shrimp. There was just one ravioli which I consider to be rather meager. The shrimp had been boiled too long and was tough and had lost its flavor. My wife's main course was cod and that was very well prepared. I had the pork with mussels - you read that right - and it was also very good. A fine combination. By now we had been in the restaurant for over two hours so we elected to skip the desserts. The price, of course, remained the same. My suspicion is that the kitchen is under-staffed. But there were only seven tables when we left. A work in progress...

I am amazed that not many guests review this amazing restaurant. Nice setting and so attentive service. The restaurant was full and glad we make a reservation. Excellent à la carte with 2 amazing amuse bouche. Nicely plated and excellent flavor from the start. Service was good and attentive. Thank you for a nice evening and be back very soon when travelling to the region. Do try this restaurant among a little gem in the city.

Restaurant is a part of hotel in the center of city. Nice ambiance. We had outside sitting. Service is fast and generally not bad. Menu is only in French. Wine list was good. Food was average. Salad we enjoyed but duck was like rubber, had to be with orange and honey sauce and instead of it we received something different (I assume it was just ordinary sauce for another dishes). It's not expensive but not cheap place either.

When In Mirepoix at lunch time, looking for something to eat, we will most probably go to the Le comptoir. We know that the food will always be good, the service warm and welcoming, the cassoulet- perefect. We also know that if we want to choose from a selection of local wines (mostly from Aude, a handful from the Ariege) this would be the place.in summer one can sit on the vine covered balcony, in winter in the warm dining room inside with its vintage decore and bric a brac. Merci

Dissapointed in regards to the previous reviews on Tripadvisor. We ate on a Friday night, with full restaurant. Service was rather slow, but still attentive. There is passion in the food, but it is much too unprofessionnal; Lacking attention on the presentation, some grosse mistakes (dry first layer of lasagna), underspicing or overspicing (sauce on the deer), vegetable without pretention. This restaurant is average, and needs to much improve many little details. Too bad!

We went there seeing great reviews on trip advisor. The concept itself (you can cook your meat by yourself on a barbecue installed in a table) is interesting however we went for beef prepared by the cook. The portions were huge and the prices were OK. Unfortunately either the quality of meat or the cook's skills weren't perfect. The beef wasn't tender. The service was great!

Here is the good taste to all tables, it mixes with the charm, quality, and humor ... Which makes you to unforgettable!
This restaurant is located at the edge of the village Marche en Femme. My friend had reservations for the night, but we arrived early. We just had a bottle of champagne for starters and that was the beginning of a tasty adenture. The wines were fantastic and the food just superb. The atmosphere was so cosy, while the place turned out to be a busy one. Staff stayed on point and friendly. If you ever are in the Ardennes near Marche en Femme (also know as middle of nowhere), go and have dinner here. You won't be dissapointed!!
