Find out what European restaurants to try in Mahe Island. The Seychelles largest and main island, Mahe is home to the capital of Victoria and about 70,000 people (almost 90% of the nation's total). Still, the island retains its idyllic beauty, with 3,000-foot mountains and scores of gorgeous beaches. Many plants, including the so-called Jellyfish Tree and several rare orchids, are unique to Mahe's shores. The Seychelles Natural History Museum, the Botanical Gardens and the Codevar Craft Centre, all in Victoria, are not to be missed.

Our Chef combines French classic gastronomy with Seychellesâ rich culinary history drawing from both Africa and Asia.
I really enjoyed three fabulous service and the romantic atmosphere created by the lights on the deck and the fish swimming in droves in the ocean outside! The Criole Bouillabaisse was a superb dish! A good selection of wines and breads as well.Dear Perry B,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback on Tripadvisor! We stayed at the Savoy so used Pescado, the hotel restaurant a few times. We were pleasently surprised with the quality of the food, well prepared, well presented and delicious. The staff were very friendly and efficient and we really enjoyed our meals in Pescado. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. Fresh fish was displayed and you could pick what you wanted and how you wanted it cooked, which we thought was great.Very happy in general. A great place for a lovely meal.

The only restaurant right on the beach a few meters away from the Indian ocean ! Lunch light on the terrace, select your preferred tapas or taste a succulent ice cream in the afternoon in between dips in the sea. Enjoy magnificent sundown while enjoying d
We have waited 20 minutes to our order to be taken. Then after 30 minutes we got drinks. After another 10 minutes of waiting they have told us that the dish we order is out of stock. So we waited across 50 minutes and left hungry at the end. Wouldn't recommend that place to anybody.

We looked for a quick night closing since we werenât too hungry and I found this great place via trip advisor. The place is really unique and blends perfectly with the beach. The pizzas are very good in a very reasonable price. Not recommended for a fancy formal dinner tough...

Had dinner here one evening and pre dinner drinks another. Ibiza cool style bar/restaurant with really friendly staff. Mixed menu of international and Spanish/Mexican dishes with good drinks list. Bar located on boardwalk in front of and part of Savoy hotel opposite Beau Vallon beach. Good spicy prawn starter and excellent steak (cooking and flavour). On first night also a superb DJ with brilliant mix of 80âs - 2000âs music and mixes. Really nice location for pre and post dinner drinks as well as lunch/dinner.

La Scala Restaurant is one of the best ones which I have tried and truly appreciated everything...The Place is really well situated with parking facilities...Right from the beginning as soon as i entered the restaurant, the Lady was welcoming and she eventually was the one who took our reservation...The Lady who took our orders was really helpful and very friendly...The other waiters were very attentive.Hats off to the Chef...The food served was simply Wow...One of the most delicious Fish Starter i had and thoroughly enjoyed it...n will definitely come back again for more. The main course also is really worthwhile...had Tagliatelle Scala and it was cooked to perfection...My husband had a grilled Fish n that too was yummy. This place deserves a 5 star as right from the doorstep you feel welcome and to top it off the Chef works wonders...I highly recommend this place and looking forward to my next dinner. This place opens only for dinner and reservations must be made.

We had starters and main courses and had mixed responses. The Carpacio all'itallia (SCR195) was a perfect combination of beef & parmesan etc., however the carpaccio wasabi (raw fish & wasabi from a tube)SCR200, was underwhelming on the flavour side. The portions were generous though. The seared tuna tagliata (SCR385) was well prepared, but wasabi from a tube was disappointing. The veal ham & mushroom (SCR455) also lacked flavour. However the service was very good & friendly. We would not have returned though.

Lovely ambience to the whole place. Past colonialism meets future food excellence. We were met with a smile and helped to outdoor seating overlooking the growing sugar cane. The facility is not just a restaurant but also a Rum distillery. Obviously the pre-dinner cocktails had a rum theme. We had a beached Mojito and a rum Negario. Both tasted great. Food was a high quality. Prawns with seaweed and veal/tuna for starters. Both very good. The mains were even better. Kingfish wrapped in bacon. And duo fish. Oh my word. The taste of both was lovely. Great job by the chef and the staff. This is a MUST visit place for anyone visiting the Seychelles.
