The restaurant is nicely laid out, spacious, well-constructed and well-decorated. Excellent air! I would only fault the cheap Chinese lanterns that somehow spoil the look and the very hard wooden chairs (pillows?) which otherwise were very comfy. We had four meals there: Two dinners and two breakfasts. Of these, one dinner was at best three points, one was four, and the breakfasts four-plus with great eggs, pastries, toast, and jams. Re dinners, the pizza - which is Italian-style, not pre-fab, and creative regarding toppings - was really a treat; salad was good too and a beer with it was just lovely. The first dinner was an expensive but very tough, sinewy steak with good pepper sauce and a very average Indonesian dish. The rosé wine with it was fairly pitiful but that's not the restaurant's fault. Pricey, especially for Indonesia and for what it is (slightly higher than good restaurants in Jogja), service friendly but with very shaky English. As has been remarked, the owner (if he is that) conspicuously absent and uninvolved. In sum, if one stays there or drives by, it's a nice place to eat - from downtown Magelang, one of the most boring small towns in SEA, it's 20 minutes and much better than anything local, too.
It's a decent restaurant in the roadway entering Borobudur Temple site (about 3-4 km before the Temple if you enter from Magelang road). All of the food we ordered were excellent with decent quantity.... The price are consider cheap for a restaurant of this class.... Very satisfying....The building designed well with wall openings as the main sources for air circulation as well as the garden view....As an architect, I would say the building represent the restaurant name well enough (& it was my first attraction to enter).
