I used to stay at Karavia hotel many years ago and did not enjoy the food or the stay. Since Accord taken over the experience has improved drastically. I absolutely love the stay and the food. The main Chef Frederick and GM Laurant is always first to greet and make one feel welcome. Frederick is an amazing Chef and quick to assist improving the experience. The food and hotel prices has reduced to ensure proper value-for-money.

I work here in Lubumbashi and needed to meet someone for a business meeting, he suggested Latte Lounge. This one is opposite the source hotel. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and while I have to say after living in Ethiopia my standards of good coffee are high, they did have good coffee. I didn't eat here so I can't comment but this is definitely a place I would go again.

Very crowded when we went, and filled with the sounds of people speaking Greek. Our waiter offered wonderful suggestions and we ended up sampling a bit of (almost) everything. The food was wonderful. The food and ambiance may not have been quite up to the same standard as another Greek restaurant in Lubumbashi, but was much less expensive and was quite tasty nonetheless.

Apart from the really great setting of this place, the food was excellent and on Sundays they offer a buffet from Antelope to crocodile and so on... with great salad bar and all the side dishes you can imagine... OK we didn't make it to the sweets simply too much (and 2 lecker...)..

I really enjoyed my lunch there and coming back tomorrow. The restaurant is close to the center, and if you are tired of (tasty but rather heavy) local food and inevitable Belgian/French-tasting Lebanese owned bakeries, this one is for you. There is a great terrace and a small green well manicured garden. The food is delicious ( not like in Greece, sure enough, but way better that what you would get in the US). The service is very courteous, the owner came out to greet us at the end of the meal and I am overall a tough-to-satisfy but immensely grateful customer! The prices are high, but not higher than in US and your hotel restaurant because you are probably just stuck in Lubumbashi on business.
