Like previous reviewers, we've visited Sotirios in its various guises but Sunday lunch was only good. Plenty of veg, meat was ok Roast pots were hard. Unfortunately it was noisy, seats too high (still, as it was in Paul's day) and the plates needed to be hotter.Perhaps the restaurant was too full as desserts came out wrong and more upsetting we were charged twice for some of them.As it was a family do we probably won't return.

My first ever visit, despite having lived in the area for more than a decade. I was the guest of old friends who travelled 70 miles to get here. I knew from the moment I entered the front door that a wonderful evening was in store. The drawing room, with its open fire and collection of books, reminded me of a country house. It might have been a perfect location for a murder mystery. Instead, I simply mirdered the wonderful food on offer! Lovingly prepared; beautifully presented; novel combinations of flavours; ingredients as fresh as the air outside. But served with enormous warmth - nothing was too much trouble. The table had been meticulously set and the timing between courses was exactly right. The quality of Clinton's food is unparalleled anywhere on the Marsh, while it would be impossible for anyone to make a stranger more welcome than did Lisa, whose explanation of each course as it arrived was reminiscent of the practice found in top French restaurants. And I don't normally eat desserts but here I demolished the lot - and after a plate of duck and the trimmings that was as good as any I have ever tasted. It was my very first visit; needless to say, it will not be my last!.This is a gastronomic experience - and how!

Traditional English Seaside pub right by the beach built in 1733.
Food was what we expected it to be, for a small restaurant area there was a big choice of menu.It was delicious and the food came out speedy, which was a blessing as we had two hungry small people with us. Decent garden size and I like that the restaurant area is separate to the drinkers. The only thing I would say is I thought it was quite expensive, but then I guess itâs a seaside town, so thatâll be why, so we went for the burgers as they were the cheapest, next visit I think Iâll go for the sausage Yorkshire pudding, that sounded delicious. Also, as we left, nature called as I walked into the toilets I was greeted by an unflushed log and mess on the floor, didnât seem like staff regularly check the toilets, but can not fault the food and the atmosphere, we would come again.

Welcome to TERRACOTTA Restaurant After our seventh successful years, we would like to thanks all our customers who visited us and said: it was the best Italian restaurant in Kent and all South East UK, we are continuing to grow and establish ourselves as
This restaurant titles itself 'fine-dining' outside. Can you have fine dining pizza? You most certainly can. We called in on spec at opening time on a Friday night. Drinks were ordered and we ordered a bottle of house red. I usually don't bother to taste the house wines but on this occasion I did and the sicilian red was bursting with flavour and punched well above its weight. The night was off to a good start. Two of us ordered pizzas (anchovy/capers and a pepperoni) as well as spaghetti bolognese and lasagne. The food was cooked to order and this understandably involves a little wait, no problem. My pizza arrived fresh out the oven and it was obvious that great deal of care had been taken over its presentation, this was trumped by the flavour, every mouthfull was absolutely delicious all on a crispy light base. The plates were cleared but one of our party left some bolognese. The word must have gone back to the kitchen because the chef arrived and enquired as to whether she had enjoyed it (a nice gesture), the portion was only a little too large for her to manage. Needless to say the desserts menu had to exercised although I couldn't manage. They arrived and were promptly cleared, absolutely delicious. This was the last day of our holiday and made a great impression. Lucky people of Hythe.
