We went for a "year end" breakfast at Cappuccinos. It's the standard hotel buffet breakfast with a wide variety and decent quality. The price is also very reasonable. The overall impression is very good and professional.

Fantastic location up on the Agatha road above Tzaneen. Very friendly staff, cosy bar and lounge. Old English inn style dining with a magnificent buffet or meals from their traditional menu. Great food, excellent service in a unique location. Lovely cool gardens to wander after a hot day in the lowveld.

The last ten years I visit this hotel/restaurant for 1 or 2 times a year.Food is always good and tasteful. ( seen 4-5 diff chefs passing by )I enjoyed it also again this time.Great place.Only little remark is we had one evening during our stay that there was a group from outside the hotel and that was to much for the employees.Dear Ronald K,Thank you very much for your feedback via tripadvisor. Alfresco breakfasts and lunches in the bush away from the hustle and bustle of town. Owner Chef prepares all meals from scratch with fresh local produce and our menu changes to adapt.
Today we had two pricy (for the average price level of South Africa) iced coffees at this place and as it was Farmer's market we happily shared the table with 2 other guests. The african staff is very friendly, their white big boss is watching the whole scene from a little table, handling all the payment stuff. When we asked for the Wifi code, we had to hand our phone over to her for inserting the code ... She watched us for about half an hour, didn't like that we sat there alone at this 6 person table with only one chair left (as 3 were taken to other tables) and asked us to leave as there are people waiting for this table. Other guests also were leaving meanwhile as the rush hour was about to be over, tables got available and of course, there was no one waiting for our table. This never anywhere on this planet happened before. Very poor attitude, it seems it never is enough for some people. We do apologise for this as the lady minding the business was there for the day only and we have reprimanded and put actions in place for this to NEVER happen again! Please feel free to come and have some free iced coffees as our apology!

My recent experience with Sascias was not that great. The service was Excellent but the food laced the touch for the price charged. Looked pretty on the plate but just ordinary food.
